I've used Dr. Bronner's highly concentrated, biodegradeable, liquid soap for decades. I dilute it with about 1 tablespoon per 1 cup of water for filling liquid soap dispensers for hand washing. I also use a tablespoon in about a gallon of water for dish washing, 1/4 cup per load of laundry (along with 1 cup of white vinegar), and the same dilution as for dishes for household cleaning tasks. I love all things Dr. Bronner! I have sensitive, oily skin and these products are great for me. I have used the Hemp orange castile soap- great if you like a nice light citrus scent. The Hemp rose castile soap is very feminine, perfect for Valentine's day or if you just want to pamper yourself. The Scentless castile soap is great as a household cleaner or shampoo for my natural hair (good cleanser that doesn't strip my hair). The Hemp peppermint castile soap is great- good as a shaving cream if you find yourself out of shave gel, but it can be uncomfortable when washing your lady parts (just being honest, it's very strong). This almond castile soap has a light fragrance and like all the other Dr. Bronner soaps (liquid and bar) I have tried, it leaves my skin feeling clean but not dry. I love Dr Bronners soaps but ... and this is a huge but... last week I had a freak accident and my dispenser squirted it straight into my eye. I had to go to my local A&E and twice to Moorfields hospital in London. My cornea has a chemical burn and I have been on different drops 6 times a day. It is going to take a while for me to fully regain my sight. It has cost me an absolute fortune in prescriptions, taxis and loss of earnings. I have been using this for my skin and hair for just over a month. For my hair I use about five drops in hair soaked water for one part of my hair and the same for the other. It cleans it very well and as someone who gets bad dandruff it has seen me through a week. But the smell...For my body, it is strong and effective. I use about four-ish drops on a water soaked sponge. Be warned it stings sensitive parts and though effective I don’t feel any cleaner than when I use normal soap or shower gel with my sponge. Still, it is nice as it is all natural. But the smell...The smell. When I first opened it, it smelled lovely like roses but after a few days the smell changed. It smells awful, like something has gone off mixed with a chemical sewage drain. It ruins all the positive attributes of this all purpose soap.In the future I’ll be trying a different scent of the same brand or something else with the same eco credentials. Read more

I love Dr. Bronner's Organic Castile Liquid Soap. I usually get the baby one or the unscented one but Amazon were forcing you to buy two at a time, which I didn't want to do so I bought this one instead. As usual the quality is great, the Dr. Bronner's Liquid Castile Soap is way more soapy then other makes of Liquid Castile Soap. However, (in hindsight these seems obvious but I genuinely didn't think of this...) it smells like Marzipan! It doesn't have a nutty smell as I stupidly assumed, and the smell is VERY strong. If you love marzipan you will love this. However if like me, you are not the biggest fan, DO NOT get this. I have found this out the hard way. I recommend getting the unscented one and adding your own organic essential oil (I like organic sweet orange essential oil). Read more

Actually beautifully made and incredibly versatlie. All organic and earth friendly ingredients. It does what it says very spiritual liquid soap with essential oils. I love the rose smell and its spritually uplifting and when your tired you can pour into your tub, use as a face wash or shampoo, it's so versatileI have extremely sensitive dry skin and can't use 99% of most soaps or face cleansers. This can be applied directly onto the face and its cleanses without drying and your skin feels soft and radiant. It smells so nice and I can only describe it as divine creation. It has numerous uses, I wash my body, use as a face wash, wash my clothes and use as a washing up liquid, the company that created this actually had a great deal of spritual insight into the future and from someone who is deeply spriitual and religous it actually does what it states and beyond. It's the best thing out there in the market. I use a mix of rose lavender and orange citrus in my bath and it is concentrate enough to lather a sponge. It's complements the Lords command that we have to bath and cleanse our bodies, then perform our prayers and union with the one. My daughter likes the sensitive baby version.
