Bronner's Castile unscented is the best!Neither myself not my father can breath around diethyl phthalates, perfumes, etcetera. This stuff is great for allergies, sensitive skin, dishes, hand soap, body soap, anything soap!I used it as shampoo with city (chlorinated, soft) water, and that worked well. With hard water, it leaves a residue in my hair.If you have well water, make sure that you have a good filtration setup!Best soap ever! Read more
I bought these for a make and take class I'm having, and I've always heard great things about Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap so it was a no brainer for me to buy! I've used Dr. Bronner's Castile Bar soap before, so I knew I wanted to use the brand for a diy essential oil foaming hand soap. I was a little concerned when one of the bottle's caps came and was cracked and missing some of the plastic from the cap, BUT when I looked closer, the seal was intact - so it must've broken in shipment. This is one of the only soaps my dad can use because he has a blue dye allergy. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 is because it does dry out this skin. Being that people that order this product tend to have sensitive skin, you would think they would put Shea butter or something to not dry out their skin I know this is not the sellers problem it is a problem it's a manufacturer problem. We use this as chemical-free soap that is good for our skin. My son also uses it as shampoo. Overall very pleased, no complaints. I know it is a little on the expensive side, but it is worth it for me because we don't run any risks with the toxins and chemicals that are in so many soaps and shampoos these days. Read more

This is a blend of cheap oils especially palm and coconut. Using the term "pure Castile" but only to mean vegetable-based. hard to find ingredients on listing, have to google it. Wish I had checked before purchasing. Would not buy again, do not recommend. Read more

How does a person rate “warmth” for a liquid soap review? I don’t understand why they have that as a rating.It is a bit thin for a liquid soap but does work very well at cleaning my body and hair without the added chemicals that traditional soaps have. I recommend this product. Read more
