I use this for my acne and GIRLLL/BOIII this changed my life. if you have persistent acne like i had, then i suggest you give this sucker a try and follow up with the Thayer's witch hazel with aloe vera and trust me you will see results like you aint never seen before honey! also probably a good moisturizer will do you gr8 especially if you have dry skin and oily skin too! ALSOooO with this soap i would suggest a small droplet onto a scrub brush and small circles all around your face will do you wonders. i know this soap is good for a lot of other stuff too but my face is selfish and wants to hog it all i guess. I have been using this for a whole week now and it's safe to say that I LOVE IT! The scent of peppermint is just at the perfect strength; it also cleans off oil very effectively.I have replaced my hand soap, face wash, dish detergent, body soap and shampoo with this liquid soap. It makes my life so much simpler and minimalistic. Below is how I use it:> Hand Soap: I use a foaming dispenser (an empty Dial bottle) and I added 20% of Dr.Bronner and 80% of water. It foamed up perfectly and it's even better than any of the product that I've ever bought from a grocery store.> Face Wash: Same as hand soap, the foam help cleans my face efficiently. However, it does dry my face up so I always moisturize after washing my face> Dish Detergent: Same as hand soap, I find the foam help cleans dishes more effectively. It also removes oil easily.>Body Wash: I use an empty soap dispenser and mix 50% of Dr.Bronner with 50% of water. Works perfectly.>Shampoo: I have short hair, therefore I don't use as much shampoo. I mix 30% of Dr.Bronner with 70% of water in an empty soap dispenserI haven't try it with floor/table/clothes cleaning so I cannot comment on that. Dr. Bronners is the greatest soap ever... i've been using it everyday for about 5 years now, and i'll never use anything else. I am an ex travelling/backpacker/street musician, and thats when I discovered this stuff... and i've used it for everything from brushing my teeth, to my hair, to my clothes, to my body, to my pets, to my dishes.... EVERYTHING... and it's ALWAYS worked out very well. The Rose scent is my favorite, because while in the bottle it smells like Rose petals, but when you shower with it.... it actually smells like Sierra Nevada beer, which has a naturally rosey/fruity smell to it. It's incredible. Dr. Bronners is the first/only soap i've ever used that also doesn't make my skin feel dry and tight. I just can't speak enough to the quality and overall love I have for this stuff. The ONLY thing I would mention to a person new to Dr. Bronners in the way of advice, is that ALL the scents are good, but everyone will have their own personal preference... HOWEVER... people new to this stuff should understand that essential oils are used in these products, and Peppermint is one of the available scents.... which means, if you choose to get the Peppermint soap, you should know beforehand that you will FEEL the Peppermint oils. The other scents don't really have that "feel" factor.... but, the Peppermint one will make your skin feel cold and tingly.... which, some people like... but.... leave it in your buttcrack for long enough and you'll start to feel like someone shoved an ice cube up your butt. I know that sounds funny... but, i'm 100% serious. If it ever happens to you I 100% guarentee you'll start laughing and saying "that dude on Amazon knew what was up!". Lastly, the Lavender one is my least favorite, and it is the only one that doesn't smell exactly as advertised. I purchased the peppermint scent because supposedly mosquitos don't like peppermint … and mosquitos LOVE ME! It does seem to help keep them away. ANYWAY>>> this is a HUGE bottle and I shared it with my daughter and it still lasts a long time (you don't need to use a lot at once). It's thin, but lathers well. It does smell like peppermint and gets your skin squeaky clean. I definitely will reorder, but probably will get the unscented one next time. I made the misguided and unfortunate mistake of using this as a wash. My no no areas felt like they caught on fire and honey I was about to die. Learning from that I use it as a face wash now which is great for my skin. I have not had a breakout since using it. I also use it on my feet when I do pedicures and as my shampoo that I mix with aloe vera and castor oil which works on my black hair. It is really great especially on your face because it tingles. I've been using this since I was around 15. This stuff would literally erase ZITS overnight--and my friends would notice. I've tried other soaps, but they leave my skin feeling and looking oily. I will be 47 in 7 days. I need all the assurance I can get, and using this soap gives me the confidence that I have a restored moisture balance to my skin. It also smells so good! Dr Bronners is an excellent castile soap & has a superb lather.The peppermint is very strong & invigorating as a hair shampoo & beard wash.I strongly advise diluting at least 50/50 with water to use as a body wash, Pouring a tiny ammount of neat peppermint soap into my hand & washing the crown jewels had a rather alarmingly side effect that I'm in no rush to repeat.I had the orange one before & the large bottle lasts ages as a little goes a long way. Been a loyal user of Dr Bronner's magic soaps for about ten years. They are fantastic! Can do anything with them - get a foam pump, mix with water and make eco friendly hand soaps that last yonks - squirt a tiny bit in your hand and lather up for shower gel - use to hand wash knickers while you're on holiday - can even use as facewash as its very gentle. Love the peppermint smell, very fresh. The big bottles last about 6 months with 2-3 people using as handsoap and shower gel! Can't recommend enough as you're also cutting down on plastic. Read more

The Peppermint in the product is very overpowering. I physically cannot use this on sensitive areas like the eyes and genitals because of the aftermath. It's a shame because I've been using the companies products for a while and up until now had no issue with them. I think just buy another less potent flavour if you're sensitive like me.Also, the bottle is riddled with religious propaganda :/ I understand that the company and product are very old, but is it really worth including a passage on "being clean in the eyes of Jesus" on every available space on the label!?
