I ordered this Vitamin D Supplement because when I searched vegan in the question area it came up with a description that this is a vegan supplement. It is not vegan it contains pig gelatin. D3 has been huge in my mental health. It helps with both depression and anxiety. And I notice a difference the next day if I haven't taken D in a while and feel my mood dwindling. Almost all Americans are deficient in D3 and so 2,000IUDs a day is a good idea. But talk to your doctor if you plan on taking more.Make sure you take it with K2 - that's the GPS for D3. It tells D to drop calcium in your teeth and bones instead of arteries and kidneys. There's no K2 in this BUT it's only $9 for a 5 month supply - that's awesome.They're easy to swallow and a great value! Read more

My body does not process calcium at a normal level, so I would get kidney stones at least a couple of times a year. I finally found out that taking vitamin D helps a ton to get the calcium where it needs to go. So I take vitamin D every day.NOTE... If you are taking D to reduce free calcium that produces kidney stones do NOT take a D supplement that includes more calcium. For me, that resulted in heel spurs that is why this D only supplement is preferable for me. Read more
