I used actual DMSO in the past for muscle aches that a friend got from a tack and feed supply store, it worked really well, even after using it three times a week for about three months. I have used it several times over the course of the past 15 years with good results . This stuff had NO EFFECT whatsoever on my pain or inflammation. The REAL DMSO will generate a weird garlic taste in the mouth shortly after skin application-NOT TAKEN INTERNALLY, it generates that taste because it has soaked into your body. That is the clue that you know it is working. This did NOTHING for my muscle pain or inflammation, and the garlic taste I was waiting for didn't come. I used it straight out of the bottle, about 8 drops on my upper thigh muscle and felt no relief at all. Sometimes I get leg cramps, particularly the tendon on the front of the ankle, lower leg will tighten up and bring on sudden pain when I'm sleeping even though I do take Magnesium tablets. A few days ago early in the morning both legs tendons became very painful & were tight protruding outwardly. I opened the new bottle and carefully used a few drops on both pain areas of lower legs.
