I am very happy with my purchase of this bed. In fact I bought two. Both came in good shape with nothing broken and all pieces there. They were easy to assemble. I've never assembled anything like a bed before, my husband usually does all the assembly jobs but he was at work and I gave it a try on my own. Love this bed super cute and durable. Don’t know the weight limit but it seems to hold my me or my husband when we lay with her to go to sleep at night. And my husband is over 6ft and 220 pounds. I was not pleased with the dings in the head board like in the picture and there was a place not pictured that was painted very well but the pillow covers it for the most part so we will just deal with it. But other than that it is a good and durable bed and my toddler (15 month old) loves it also and has no problems getting in and out of it would be a 5 star if not for the imperfections and dings.Update:We have had this bed a little over a year and our daughter is now a little over 2. We still very much love this bed and it has still held us perfectly fine laying with her at night till she goes to sleep. No creeks or cracking sounds when you get on the bed and still very strong. Has held up with all the jumping from our toddler (wouldn’t recommenced an adult jumping on this) and tickle monster fights. Will purchase again once our little man is old enough to be in a toddler bed. Overall we still use this bed and it is cute BUT when it got here one piece was already scratched up :/ the instructions were a pain, as was puttin it together. It is so very tiny.***update***The footboard fell off completely within a week of having it. Therefore the entire thing falls apart. My children are not rough on it at all. I owned and installed 3 beds of this style. They were all cheap quality wood but also light. However this one is heavy bad quality wood and pretty crappy screws so it just becomes a heavy piece of junk. Wasted 2-3 hours trying to make it work but the screws and system is too terrible to installed or even use. Read more

Very pleasantly surprised by this bed! It was simple to put together and my son loves it. It can be so difficult to transition from a crib to a bed, but he took to it! Send like a very solid toddler bed. Has wood slats and wood composite frame unlike some of the other plastic beds. Hopefully it hold up well. We bought the recommended Serta perfect start crib mattress with it and it fits perfectly. It got or 2.5 y/o out of our bed! The first night he slept all the way through in his own room. Read more

I would have given 5 stars because it looks very nice and is way sturdier than I thought it would be. It was also every easy and quick to put together - maybe 30 to 45 min. The wood is actually pretty heavy and seems like great quality. There is a little mark/scratch on the footboard but it's on the inside and really not a big deal. However I had to take off one star because a total or 3 screws would not go in because the holes in the wood would not align at all. It's not major screws and it's still holding up without them but it's still frustrating and shouldn't happen. Also I wish it came with white screw covers - but that's an easy fix since you can just buy some for cheap. Read more

I never give bad reviews only because I’m not overly picky but here it goes.I opened the box and got the strongest smell of formaldehyde. I set the bed up thinking I could air this thing out in the garage . I took it into my kids bedroom after and after 1 hour in the room my eyes were starting to get irritated. Keep in mind this is a KIDS bed. I looked on the internet to see if it goes away but only saw people saying it stays for months.Now I’m not sure if this part is true but I I read some parts of this chemical reaction can be cancerous. I have 2 problems with this.1- when we opened the package, the headboard and foot board had scratches and there were areas where the paint wasn't even.2-The initial smell is so bad that I got nausea just during the assembly. It took over 15 days for the strong smell to fade away.I sprayed it with vinegar and water twice a day every day for almost a week or so. But that stubborn smell is still there . My son was so excited to see this bed but we didn't let him sleep in it until the smell was almost gone.Even now, cannot close the room door for long time because the smell would come back.This bed is cute looking and comfortable but I didn't expect it to arrive with scratches and awful smell.
