I bought this brush and comb set for my 2 year old's birthday. She is a big fan of minnie mouse and loves anything minnie related. We also got her a vanity set and play makeup so this was a logical next item we needed to add to it all. The vanity came with a brush and comb but it was very hard and my daughter doesn't like it and won't use it. She really likes this set and it is soft so i'm not worried about her hurting herself in the process of playing with it like the other set. It is very cute and is a light pink color with a black back and white polka dots. It says minnie on the back of it and has a cute little minnie head on the comb. My daughter loves the brush and uses it daily, she keeps it inside her little drawer on her vanity set with her play makeup. She doesn't use the comb as much as the brush, but she will use it occasionally as well. It does have a spot on the inside of one of the ears where some of the black paint is not covering like it should be (see photo), but it's not too much of a big deal as i'm sure she will play with it for years to come either way. This is a cute set. My daughter is happy about Minnie design, but it's not useful.Comb is hard plastic, has a cheap feel to it. Brush is heavy and bristles are very thin. I got these for my 5 year-old daughter, hoping that having a Minnie Mouse comb and brush set would help motivate her to start fixing her own hair in the morning (thus making MY morning a little less stressful). This set is definitely cute and great quality, but I realized when I opened the package that it seemed more for babies than anyone else. The bristles on the brush are very soft, really TOO soft for anything but baby-fine hair. I bought this set for one year old daughter who has thick, wild, unmanageable (yet still baby hair) thanks to mommy and daddy. Brother has thick hair as well. I didn’t realize it would be the brush we use everyday, but it really helped maintain her hair. The ears of the brush kind of get in the way but you learn how to maneuver around . Even if you don’t love this brush, it’s still adorable and would be cute to use for them to practice brushing their hair or play with, brushing their dolls hair. It’s just adorable! I bought this in the hopes that a Minnie brush would encourage my daughter to let me brush her hair. On that front, this brush has succeeded. I bought this set for our two year old granddaughter. She isn't fond of getting her long hair combed or brushed so I thought this set might encourage her. The brush is very soft like a baby brush but for my purpose it was perfect. My granddaughter will brush her own hair with crying. It's a start. 😁 I think it's a cute set and worth the money. Read more
