Bought this for the kids play room. Three months later, they're not destroyed. The fact that they collapse instead of having stiff sides may be part of it, and that can be annoying sometimes when it doesn't want to 'stand up' and hold whatever it is we've piled inside this time until you've settled it in better. I purchased this product in late 2017. As of today, I have had to trash this product completely. The first complication I had was with the handles. I was carrying around some laundry, and one of the handles broke free, and I could not fix it. Over the next few months the other handle broke. This would only be a good laundry basket in a kids room with "light laundry." We used it in our master bedroom and because I only prefer to do laundry once or twice a week, it got jam packed and the grommetsthat attached the rope handle to the basket gave out on both sides due to the weight.
