Firstly, I have to note that I never leave reviews for products... mainly because I feel indifferent, BUT this digestive enzyme is incredible and deserves a review. I highly recommend anyone who has IBS or autoimmune issues (that result in digestive discomfort) to try these. I got these to help me become more regular. Not only is my constipation gone they seem to have helped my facial redness and! My energy levels have been up which is great! I assume it is because it helps you to absorb vitamins better?The only weird thing I have noticed since taking them is a strange craving for dark chocolate, which is something I do not like and only started when taking these supplements. I love this product. I’ve bought it 3 times already and it works wonders for me. I get bloated a lot, my tummy tends to look very very bloated when I wake up and after meals. I am so glad I ordered this product. I have always had issues with digesting broccoli or brussel sprouts, two of my favorite foods. And sometimes I have issues digesting some whey protein, even when it's not whey concentrate. I just get bloated and uncomfortably so. When I googled why brussel sprouts and/or broccoli cause bloating and discomfort, it said they have a sugar called raffinose that is often hard to digest. So it said to look for a product - "Supplements that contain the necessary enzyme, alpha-galactosidase, break down the raffinose before it gets to the large intestine, reducing the levels of gas and potentially avoiding bloating". So when I looked that up, I discovered this product and immediately ordered it. I take it BEFORE a protein shake and/or before brussel sprouts/broccoli. Finally able to get my gastritis and acid reflux under control and quit all the acid suppression drugs like Omeprazole and Ranitidine. This stuff is a lifesaver! I have severe lactose intolerance and additional food sensitivities. Before this product, I would bloat horribly after almost everything I ate, and suffer with stomach pain for hours on end. I had tried numerous other supplements in efforts to ease my misery, but nothing has even came close to this. I started taking this product on Tuesday and with the first dose I could tell I was doing better already. I have had complications since having my gallbladder removed in 2003 and MAV Premium Digestive Enzymes have relieved a lot of unwanted symptoms for not properly digesting food. I do not have a lot of gas and bloating anymore just within the first few days and I feel better and I do not have stomach pain anymore. I have always heard that I should take digestive enzymes after that surgery but I did not know much about them. After doing some research I figured I would start with this product.
