Many diaper bags I’ve owned are far from stylish and, in fact, look like something I bought in a thrift store. I love everything about this diaper bag, especially the modern chic look, if you can call it that. It has one fringed PU leather zipper pull, company logo tag, metal zipper pulls, and pull tabs to open the bag. I have one other Debug diaper bag and loved it. I checked out all the hardware immediately because that tells me whether or not this diaper bag will hold up under normal use.The zippers are synthetic with metal hardware and leather pulls. No need to add graphite to the zippers they all work well. There’s a lot of metal hardware from the rivets on the pulls to the rings for the stroller straps. The sliders for strap adjustment are an impact-resistant plastic. The material this backpack is made of a nice Oxford, which makes it water-resistant.The inside of this diaper bag pops with a ton of functional features. There lots of pockets. It’s one of those DIY-style bags where you put your stuff where you feel it’s best suited. There’s also a place to store baby bottles, an insulated area good for hot or cold. It has a large enough capacity to hold diapers, a change of clothes, snacks, and other essentials needed for a short or long walk.I love the fact that there’s a small changing pad tucked inside this diaper bag. I’ve seen this in a few diaper bags I’ve had before and thought it was a great idea. This tells me this company is thinking of what it’s truly like to parent and all those things you’ll want. There’s even a bottle to put your hand sanitizer in. This is a very comfortable bag that can be carried or worn like a backpack.There are a ton of cool features this bag has listed, including that USB port with a USB cord. As far as the backpack function goes, it’s decent, but not really designed for lengthy carry. The straps are lightly foam padded and covered with mesh for breathability. It’s not designed like a book bag, but baby “stuff” can get heavy. This is a handsome bag with the dark twill and the brown faux leather accents. It is extremely lightweight compared to some other bags, probably due to the omission of the "collapsible bassinet" that so many bags adopt these days. Frankly, we'd prefer the lighter weight to the addition of those flaky bassinets, so this bag wins extra points in our eyes.Craftsmanship and comfort are all fine. The zippers didn't give us any issues though I suspect that most people will have issues there first. The material feels nice and looks good and is fairly easy to brush clean.This bag has a feature where the entire front of the bag can unzip and lay flat which was awesome in principle. We figured it was so you could use that in conjunction with the changing pad to change your baby. Unfortunately, the insulated bottle pouches are directly under where the baby's head would be in this configuration, so if you're carrying bottles this won't work for that. It was disappointing to discover. That flap does make a good place to stash the changing pad, though. We also were pleased that the wipes pouch has a zippered cover since most bags they just kinda hang out.Otherwise this bag has the standard assortment of pockets (insulated and not) and places to stash the various accoutrements that come with carting a child around with you. We're pleased that there is a padded laptop compartment inside that has a securing strap. (A feature some bags leave out.)Pass through USB charging port (no battery pack provided) is a nice touch since most of us need to recharge our phones on the go.Overall a nice, sharp looking bag. We don't feel like it's quite as durable as other bags out there, nor is it as spacious. We do feel like it's a practical, lightweight bag, though, for your lightweight urban adventures. :) Read more
