The media could not be loaded. If you have purchased these clips in the past, know that these are NOT the same clips any longer.I use the Diane clips to make baby hair barrettes. The Diane clips are of an amazing quality, and in each box only 1 or 2 were wonky. In this latest shipment 50% are not only wonky - they are unusable.I should have known when I opened this latest package something was wrong. The Diane clips came in a fold over plastic container and these were tossed in a plastic bag. (See photo) i’d figured that maybe they moved to economical packaging. Sadly no, they didn’t come in their typical box because they are not the same clips. The Diane clips have strong and sturdy prongs - these prongs are very weak. They bend the moment you try to work with them, or they are bent to begin with. (See photo)The screws in the Diane clips hinges are flush with the clip. These screws stick out further than the clip. It looks cheap and would get caught in your hair. (See photo)Lastly, some of the clips “click” when pinched. It’s a shocking sound because it makes you feel like you broke it. (See video)I’m returning these and searching for a new vendor. If you have purchased these in the past, please know that there has been a change. You are not getting Diane branded clips. You are getting a cheaply made imposter. Read more
This is a "pin curl clip" or to keep bows or flowers in hair. It it NOT well suited for keeping curlers in your hair. A Double Prong Slide-In Clip is best for "magnetic" curlers, because it slips inside of the curler, making it possible to position a roller next to the roller it's in. Amazon suggested it when I purchased the magnetic rollers. A poor choice. Photo: This clip is on the bottom. The slide in clip is on the top. Also, and this may not apply to all, but this clip has a very small surface to grasp, compared to the slide in clip in the photo. When I don't get a good grip on them, they go hopping off. Read more
They were really good quality, especially for the price! The same quality and kind as at the hair store, but for a bigger bulk quantity. Definitely would recommend. I use then for my locs. Read more
I wouldn’t recommend these Broke me OUT!!! What the heck! I pin curled my hair and felt a burning sensation on my head and this is what was there. Please don’t buy I will be returning these! Read more
Exactly what I needed to re twist my starter locs. Much less than you would pay in store. No complaints. Would buy again. Read more
These were inexpensive, but every single time, my hair gets caught in them and they are ripping my hair out. I don't care how cheap they are, I don't need them damaging my hair. Chalked them up as a loss and threw them out Read more
These are just like the DevaCurl clips, but I get 80 for less than the price of 10. Read more
I bought these to add "lift" to my naturally curly hair while it dried. They're exactly like the clips my stylist uses in her salon. I just have to figure out where, exactly, to place them so that it's more "lift" and less "bee hive" and we'll be good. These stay in place until you remove them, even if you're headbanging to Indie music like a total nerd. I was looking for curl clips to clip my roots to help with volume with my curly hair. I didn't want to spend major amounts of money for just 6 clips. So when I found this package of 80 clips for under $8 at the time of purchase, I instantly added it to my cart.I have been using them to experiment with different wants to clip up my roots to help my hair gain volume and to help make my curls curl better. The quality is great, sturdy, and its a great amount for the price point. These are a great (cheaper) dupe to the DevaCurl clips. You get so many that these will last forever. The clips are strong and easy to use. I use them in my daily styling and have had zero issues. Read more
Purchased these for my curly locks to help lift roots. They work great, aren't sharp and because of their smaller size don't get tangled up in my hair too much. Awesome price as well! You can't go wrong with these! Read more
Tons of clips, with just the right amount of strength to hold a curl firmly against your head, but not so tight as to leave a crease. Perfectly balanced really. And doesn't pull when removing. Very pleased. Read more
