These are NOT standard bobby pins. They are designed to be worn with wigs, to be used on hair nets, headbands and the like--which is why they do NOT have ball tips.To use them properly, you need to stick them into the hair/wig/hair net going in the WRONG direction. Slide the pin about 2 cm in, then FLIP IT--scooping up some hair or fabric while doing this--then slide the hair pin in fully going the OPPOSITE direction from how you started. They hold best when you use 2 pins going in opposite directions, with about a 3 cm gap between them. Read more
