I always wonder what I look like throughout the day as I’m dealing with clients but I don’t have time to get up and check my reflection in a mirror and I think putting an open mirror on my deskWould seem vain! The one-setting lights on this battery operated mirror are Useless because they aren't bright enough to see anything. So you have to use secondary lights, which isnt any different than using the mirrors I already own. I threw it away and bought a quality one elsewhere. I am left confused as to WHY this was a rhighly recommended item. I appreciate Amazon, but this kind of thing causes me to question the legitimacy of customer reviews. We travel full time in our RV, so I got this because lighting and space are an issue when you want to do your makeup. It’s really bright, but not so bright it blinds you. I like my Conair which I've been using 40 years however this mirror is black and matched so I gave it a try. It makes me look ugly. Even with 3X it's still a bit hard to see hairs which is only a small window on the bottom left making it awkward to really see. The inner mirror makes you look distant from the mirror making it hard to put makeup on. Read more
The rechargeable batteries I use, EBL brand, do not last long at all even after a fresh recharge. I use this for home, and it is definitely bright but perhaps a little flimsy. Though I would honestly recommend it, as I believe it's user error that I experience trouble with lights on the mirror. It definitely does it's' job and is cute. Read more

I bought this to replace a mirror that never seemed bright enough. I got it in pink and I love it. I have it connected with the usb so it is instant on. You can adjust the tilt and the brightness.
