This is a lifesaver. It was suggested to me by my naturopath to take magnesium for stress which was causing me to not fall asleep easily or stay asleep through the night. I'm usually on the prowl for these powdered products because in some cases I want to give to my son who is 5 and won't swallow horse pills and another, I'm not too awesome at swallowing horse pills myself!The flavoring is orange-y but subtle. Don't kick your taste buds in the face. It also dissolves fine but I'm not picky in that dept. In terms of uptake or bio-availability over other products, I cannot say I notice anything any different. My only motivations for the product was the brand and the solubility in water part. I bought this on a recommendation from someone for better sleep quality. I'm already a huge magnesium advocate and take various forms daily.It tastes like Tang to me, and I like the dosage of 300 mg in one teaspoon. Easy to get a decent amount in one swoop. I found another use for this besides mixing in water before bed, I used it to make magnesium gummies for my child. It tasted fine mixed with orange juice.As far as better sleep quality, it did make me feel more sleepy versus not taking it at all - but it wasn't the solution I was looking for.I'm still going to use this to make magnesium gummies, but found another form/brand of magnesium that improves my sleep quality.
