(and I've tried quite a few). This has been my go-to moisturizer for around 12 years now. And although I do experiment now and then with different products, I always keep returning to this one. DMAE with Alpha Lipoic Acid and Ester-C is one of the most powerful anti-oxidant/anti-aging combinations you can find (as argued by Joel Fuhrman in his book "Eat to Live"). I firmly believe this product not only helps to slow signs of aging in the longer term, but it also renders a noticeable effect in the short term. The texture of my skin becomes more even and tighter, and wrinkles are smoothed a bit soon after application. Mind you, It's not some kind of dramatic, miraculous transformation, but I honestly do see a difference!They've changed the formula over the years. The cream is now softer and easier to apply than it once was. And they've added a lavender scent which isn't too strong (thankfully). I do really appreciate that this product has no parabens nor sulfates, and no artificial colors nor fragrances. And it's 100% vegan and free from any animal cruelty. This is a story of LOVE and HATE! I used this for a very long time up until about 9 months ago when I switched to a retinol cream. I decided to re-order to switch up my routine and the first time I put it on (on a washed and toned face) I remembered how much I loved this. It quickly absorbs into the skin, has minimal (if any) odor and leaves a firm and tight feel to the skin. LOVE!! I went about my morning routine (coffee, made the bed, checked the news) and then I began to (tried to) put on makeup. Ah, now I recall why I HATE this moisturizer! Well, hate may be an overstatement, but why I can not use this during the day. The box swears it is good under makeup. I am mystified as to how they can make this claim. I tried to spot conceal and everything just pilled off. I tried bb cream over it and that too was patchy and began to pill once I began to rub it in. I even tried mineral powder for redness around my nose and that pulled away from my skin as soon as I touched my face. So - LOVE for perfect-skin days and night use, but definitely DO NOT recommend for any sort of beneath-makeup use - HATE it for that reason. Read more

I bought this product with great expectations. However within a week of using it, my neck started itching like crazy, while my face was OK. I discontinued the product and within a day or two my neck became normal. Then I restarted it just to eliminate other possible causes, and viola, the neck started to itch severely and break out. It got so bad I had to use an antihistamine cream to get back to normal. Repeated the process once more and same results.Since the return window had closed I am stuck with the remaining product - one more useless thing! Read more

I don't like the fragrance at all. Weird smell, can't quite explain it. Unlike other Derma E moisturizers I've used and I normally like all of them, that's why I chose to try this one. Since I don't like the way it smells, it is hard for me to use, so I can't tell if it is a good product or not. I will never purchase this one again. I love all the Derma-E products. Of course, everyone's skin-care needs are different, but all of these products work great for me. I have a medium skin type (not too dry or too oily). This product in particular may not be the best choice for those with oily skin as it's a little heavy, but it provides a feeling of moisture protection, in general. Read more

This is better than any name brand department store over-the-counter product I have ever tried. It really does work (look in the mirror), and you can tell that it works by the way it absorbs immediately into the skin. Most other products sit on the surface of your skin. Sometimes I reapply to make sure my skin is getting enough moisture. It doesn't work well under makeup but it's great for overnight skin nourishment. I’ve been slowly building up my DermaE collection. I’ve fallen in love with this brand because of their ingredients, their effectiveness and their message. I’m happy I went ahead and added this moisturizer to my stash. It’s thick, creamy and sheer- applies nicely. I’m not a big fan of the scent but it goes away quickly. The cream itself is okay for my skin, in as much as it hasn't irritated it like some brands. It's not overly perfumed. It hasn't done anything to reduce the pigmentation marks on my face, or improved my wrinkles though...no surprises there. Read more
