I'll start off with the bad. The price is ridiculous, but sometimes the price can drop to $9.99 which I guess is better than the $16.99 I've seen these go for on Amazon and Walgreens. There are some bad reviews on this product and I will agree with most of them because their sore is probably in a location that is not ideal for this product. I usually get canckersores on the inside of my lips so the patches are easy to apply and stay. If you have cankersore under your tongue or the inside of your cheek or harder to reach spots I can see why these may not work for you.I highly suggest you to put one of the patches on right when you see the cankersore forming because for me, they usually prevent the sore from getting too big. I have a patch on right now and I waited too long and the sore matches the size of the patch now. T_T Dont be like me and wait. When they are small you can break the patch in half so you can get more uses out of them. Just make sure you keep the remaining half in a dry place that is sealed because it will absorb moisture and not be good anymore.I wish these were not so expensive, but honestly these are the only things that work for me. I started using these probably 10 years ago.They use to sell them at Fred Meyers for $6.99 and I thought it was expensive back then.The first time I used one my canker sore was pretty much gone the next day.These are the only product that genuinely help my canker sores heal.They are expensive so I usually suffer through the day and only use them at night before I go to bed because they last the full night then.They only last a couple hours during the day because I'm constantly poking at it with my tongue +eating and drinking.I dry the sore, clean it with peroxide, dry it again and apply the patch.I've never had a problem with it sticking as long as I dry the affected area first.The relief these patches bring is worth every penny. I hate how much they cost, but I'll forever pay it because not being in pain is so worth it. Read more

As a dental hygienist I was introduced to this product in school 13 years ago. They are a like a bandaid for inside your mouth. I do believe that one or two helps keep the acids off the ulcer giving it time to heal. I always talk weird when I apply one because I am trying to ensure it stays in place. Evening and night would be the ideal time to use it. Cannot find them in store anymore So I was please to find on Amazon. I have a terrible nervous habit of chewing on my inner lip. I tried numbing agents and other products and nothing could keep me from chewing on my lip. This forms a jelly coat/seal over the raw sore area that I've made in my mouth from excessive chewing on it for months and it works amazingly. I have used this product (and the version that used to be made by DenTek) for years. These Dentemp Canker Covers are nearly identical to the DenTek version (DenTek no longer makes theirs). These work great! Yes, they do form a goopy gel-like blob barrier while they work; which can feel a bit slimy. If you have to position the cover near your lips then the goopy gel-like blop can show a bit while you talk while wearing them. I don't care, the relief from the pain is sooooo worth it. You can even drink and eat while wearing them, as long as you chew on the other side of your mouth and carefully (take small bites). You want to be careful not to catch at the gel blob, you do not want to forcefully pull it off. You need to allow the blob to dissolve slowly (which takes about 6 to 8 hours) as that is what really assists with the healing. They do have a minty menthol taste, similar to old original Listerine. The taste does fade after about an hour or so. If you wear the Invisalign braces trays, as I do, you will find that you get a lot of mouth sores where the oral buttons rub on the inside of your mouth when the trays are out. These Dentemp Canker Covers really help to soothe that pain and heal those sores. IMPORTANT: When you first apply these Canker Covers notice that the exposed side of the cover has an orange-pink vegetable dye coloring. Be sure to allow time for that colored dye to dissolve (about 30 minutes) before you put your trays back in. Otherwise, the dye will stain your trays. My sores are stubborn. It takes 2 to 3 applications to fully heal them. They are a bit spendy for the little you get (the price shown is for one box of 6) I still think they are worth it. In the last month, I have had clusters of canker sores and boy, are they painful. They were making me cranky. I tried KankA and Oral gel mouthwash and they helped for a short period. A friend told me about these covers and I decided to give them a try. I cut them in half and stuck them on the sore for 10 seconds on my tongue. I was surprised they stayed on. After a bit of time, they turn into gel and the pain lessen a lot quickly. My sores feel so much better in the morning and I was able to eat and drink without taking an Advil.
