Not sure if I should be proud or embarrassed, but I purchased this to replace the one I've had for 5-10 years. While that speaks to the durability of these tongue cleaners, I'll also admit the one I replaced looked gross with all the hard water stains, etc., on it. We'll see if this one lasts as long; the build does seem slightly different. I like these because they flex and so you aren't able to over-exert and bruise your tongue. Also, the edges are acute enough that it'll scrape the gunk off your tongue, but not scrape off your taste buds like those metal tongue cleaners can. I bought this to replace an almost identical product (sold as "Breath Remedy") that I'd had a while, that had eventually snapped from repeated use.My previous tongue cleaner was highly effective, however this DenTek product has two issues: (1) the head of the cleaner is flimsy, and flexes too much, and (2) the "rubberised" soft cleaning head is less effective than solid plastic.These two issues combine to make this tongue cleaner "just OK" rather than highly effective. This is the second Den Tec tongue cleaner i have bought from Amazon & it doesn't disappoint. I found it to efficiently clean my tongue & was just asgood as the first. I have had others before i found DenTek but they are either too rough & hurt my tongue or don't work at all. At a very reasonable price i recommend this one. Read more

Me tongue now is clean; trust me on this!Recommend it and would purchase it again, no doubt!It is not big enough to actually fit the whole tongue, as another reviewer pointed out; it fits half of your tongue, so you have to clean the right side, then the left side.It's probably best that it doesn't fit the whole tongue, so it gets a better grippage of the tongue. Doesn't work at all as I said, it can't clean anything on your tongue, nor does it move the gunky stuff (the bacteria it advertised moving) or anything. It says on the packet it is mint flavored, don't believe that for a minute. And to add insult to injury mine was fluorescent pink! Read more
