Even though these are labeled slim, they are not very slim between tight teeth. The metal wires in these scratch and stick my gums to the point they bleed. The wires have gotten twisted twice between my front teeth (which have wider spaces than my back teeth) and I had to cut them off with scissors to remove the wire. I'm afraid to use these again on anything but the widest gaps in my teeth. I've used plastic picks similar to these which bend after half my mouth is finished, but at least they don't injure my gums. I'll be going back to the plastic picks--having to use 2-3 every time I clean my teeth is better than injuring my gums. Read more

Don't let the somewhat aggressive looking brush keep you from purchasing. After several months of using this product (1x nightly) my gums look healthier and I feel like I've made some great progress in keeping my mouth a bit healthier. Less plaque buildup for sure! One caveat though, you need to floss first THEN use the brush or you'll be tossing these things out as they pick up everything. Floss, then use the Dentek, the brush, then Dentek again, then swish with mouthwash. Best routine ever. Call me a believer in this being a big key in your dental, and therefore overall, health! Just got my braces about a week ago and I am so happy I bought these brush cleaners for my braces. They get hard to reach places and they fit between some small gaps that I have betweeen some brackets. I like the fact that they are bendable. Not sure what I would do without them. It does make life easier. I carry them in my purse and have them all around the house. Great product and will be buying these for the next 2 years lol! Read more

If you have compact teeth and can't use regular floss these are excellent. Floss usually gets stuck and breaks in my between my teeth, I have tight compact teeth with little spacing. I have found the DenTek Slim Brush Cleaners to be the best I have used yet. They beat the GUMs by a mile. My teeth are tight together and these little DenTeks get right in. I can't get GUMs to do that on all my teeth. The DenTeks can be used repeatedly and longer than the GUM brand. They slip right between the teeth and clear out most food particles. I love these dentek brushes. Couldn't live with out them. I use them every time I each something. I hate it when you have food stuck in your teeth. Even worse I hate it when other people have food stuck in their teeth and they are talking to you. Small enough to carry in your purse or pocket (put it in a plastic bag so it doesn't get fuzz on it ).
