I’ve been buying these for years and never had problems until now. DO NOT Buy these until Amazon throws out its current supply and restocks. My spouse thinks it smells like dead fish. I think it smells like super strong solvent or chemicals. I nearly puked when I open the bag. Sent it back for a replacement, and the replacement smelled the same way. Have been flossing my granddaughters teeth for several years.... ever since her first pediatric dentist visit and she had 7 cavities!!! Dentist recommended twice daily brushing (which we already did), flossing at bed time, and then applying MI Paste to teeth following flossing each night. Our dentist gave me several sample flossers and these were the ones we settled on. I ran out of these a couple of weeks ago and purchased another brand and my granddaughter hated them. They are quite a bit larger and were uncomfortable for her when I was flossing We have gone back to these and now we are happy again! She doesn't complain about the taste and she really likes the pink ones too bad you have to purchase in a mixed color package. These flossers also have fluoride on them so that is another plus.Comfortable fit for her mouth, floss stays tight during the single use flossing process and at this 3 pack deal they are a great price. Her teeth have definitely improved since flossing. We also had her baby teeth sealed, which normally isn't done until permanent teeth are in; but since she had the cavity issue we did it at our dentists' recommendation to help prevent surface cavities/decay. These work fine for my almost 7 year old. We've tried a couple other brands too--I usually just buy whatever is cheapest but still "kid friendly/fun." The only issue is, when the bag is filled with flossers, it's kind of smells. Like almost fishy--it's weird. I don't know if it's a combo of different scented flossers mixed together? By themselves they smell fine, but my daughter usually asks me to open the bag and pull one out for her, so she doesn't have to smell it. Read more

I have bought SO MANY if these. They are cute so it's easy to get my kids to floss and I thought they would be easy to use. I have bought them for YEARS thinking they were just that. Today is the first day I actually tried one myself. I was out of floss sticks so I grabbed one of my kids'. The floss is so loose that these are absolutely completely useless. They've been fine for when my kids were tiny and there was plenty of space between all of their teeth, but now that they're getting a little older (7 and 5) and actually NEED to floss between close together teeth, these worthless things can't get down there. I got these on sale so I don’t feel too bad. My kid uses it and hasn’t complained but I noticed it has a smell. Not sure what it even smells like, maybe a bunch of chemicals combined with flavors? It’s not pleasant though. I wouldn’t purchase again but will be using what we have left.The colors are fun for the kids and it’s a good size. My son is using this flosser from his 3 years old till now, for 2 years already. It was quite good. When we run out the previous ordered packages, just ordered several packs more. But from the 1st piece, just from the very 1st flossing, I saw this kind of easy damaged flossor, it’s falling apart and getting totally loose. Disappointed about the change no matter the raw material or way of manufacturing. As we opened one pack, I don’t think we can still return the rest of them. I ordered 6 packs. But I will definitely throw them away as I do think it’s a risk to health if kid swallow the tiny fiber. Read more

These flossers (orange bag) are made of less plastic so the handle part isn't as strong as other flossers (green/white bag). I prefer the flossers that are made with more plastic, so I can hold them further back (Rather than sticking my fingers in his mouth) when I'm flossing my 2 year old's teeth. My kids didn't really have a preference between the flavors though. Read more
