Have used these for over 6 years, ordering thru subscribe & save. Opened most recent order approximately 3 weeks ago. Shortly after, began having numbness in throat, tongue and lips. Have spent last couple weeks trying to analyze what could cause this. Naturally, started with all possibilities that were new to environment. Suspected culprit to be new essential oil used in laundry so discontinued use. Yesterday: light bulb! Had noticed seemed to mostly happen soon after eating, but no new foods. Then, while using this product, attention was distracted for a moment and left the floss pick in mouth while reading something. Until the numbness hit big time, even a bit of swelling. Boom! Had some of the previous order left and tried one of those (after the swelling and numbness had abated). No problem with those. Now convinced this run of floss picks has something different about them. They do seem to have a stronger mint flavor, so it could just be way too much. Whatever the root of the problem is, won't be using flavored ones again (hopefully can find unflavored). Just wanted to alert others to be aware. Hoping no long term issues. For reference, the run number on the bags is L : 1702AD B06. No recall listed on FDA site. And it could be just me. But thought best to alert other buyers to be aware of potential reaction issues. These advertise themselves as being made for tight teeth and sensitive gums.I can attest that they are very comfortable compared to normal floss picks, and they do hold up quite well. However, they stretch very badly for tight teeth. In my case I went from using 1 Oral B pro health glide floss picks to 2-3 of these to get the same results. Unfortunately for folks like me that'll mean it will cost as much or more than using the Oral B pro health floss picks. These are mint flavoured - it isn't unpleasant but I'd rather have the option of an unflavoured one.If you have normal teeth, pick these up - you won't be disappointed for the price. If you have tight teeth - it would behoove you to move on to the Oral B picks mentioned above. Read more

I first tried these through some freebies from the dentist. They're a "tape" kind of floss, rather than string. I have super tight spaces and it always freaked me out how floss shreds between my teeth, and so I avoided flossing as much as I should. These are way more comfortable. I made the mistake of buying some that LOOKED similar, but were not good at all and while they looked like the wider tape floss, they also shredded.I really like these and the comfort helps get me flossing way more. My last checkup was an A+! Read more

These are TERRIBLE! The floss comes loose with the first pass between two teeth. The dental pick is rock hard. I’ve used DenTek Complete Clean Easy Reach Floss Picks for years and I thought that was what I was getting. BIG MISTAKE.Thankfully I ordered a 6 pack but only got one. I cancelled my subscription and am requesting a refund. Read more

I have been searching for this version for my teeth forever, I last purchased it 5yrs ago. There are a fair amount of flosses described as "tape", however, they are not. This one is the real deal, it is not floss, it is dental tape, and for me it is gentler on my teeth and gums. The traditional floss is too thin, sharp, and I hate to use it. There is a BIG difference between dental floss and dental tape. If tape is what you want, make sure it's tape that you get. Read more

My goals for dental health always failed when it came to flossing my back teeth because of the difficulty reaching them. With these, that problem no longer exists. They easily reach with the need for contortions or stretching my mouth so wide the corner would split. Now, I clean between those back teeth just as faithfully as I do all the rest. My recent checkup -- after a 2-year hiatus because of Covid -- was so good the hygienist says I can wait at least a year before going back. Thankful for this product!! Read more

Many years ago my dentist told me that I should be flossing my teeth. I agreed with him but the trouble was I could never really get into the habit of using normal floss 'string'. I happened upon these 'Y' shaped picks and it changed everything. The shape is perfect for getting to the back teeth and they work just well on all the others. They are also much better than tooth picks for dislodging some food that has got stuck in a gap.The only trouble is that about 5 or 6 years ago they became very difficult to buy in the UK. It is easy to find what I call the 'L' shaped ones but they don't work for me, I like the 'Y' shape. In case you are not sure what I am talking about I have attached a photo of the 'Y' shaped Floss Pick. Make sure you buy the ones for 'Back Teeth' if you want the 'Y' Shape.Anyway you can buy them through Amazon traders from the US but that usually means waiting a couple of weeks. So, I am glad to see that a US company called 'THE VALUE WORLD' is now selling them and using Amazon UK to do the fulfillment.Top marks all round and my dentist is pleased with the results as well. Best floss picks I’ve ever owned for back teeth. The floss isn’t really thin cutting your gums and is instead flat making it a lot more comfortable and easier to floss with. Read more

The angled floss picks are not so easy to come by. These are excellent, really good to use and do not cut one's gums. They are not cheap, they are by far the best I've ever used. Read more
