The first problem was missing screws, very frustrating, but after a trip to Home Depot we get going again.Then we found that the base is cloth!!!! Cute sturdy bed. There were a few minor imperfections but nothing that is really visible or affects the stability. We are using the foam Millard crib mattress which fit very snug. The main reason we purchased this bed is since it's on the ground and doesn't have a weight limit. It's only being used for my 2 year-old but she shares a room with her older siblings and I'm sure they will jump on it. Im very impressed with this bed. Quality is very high. The images on the wood are simply amazing quality. The top wood all around is curved to help prevent booboos. The sides are a good height to prevent my child from rolling out. Assembly was fairly easy. The '95''s on both sides of the bed are separate wood prices to give it a 3D look. The reason that I am giving this bed 1 star is that as soon as you open the box, you can smell a very strong chemical smell. I did wash the bed with water and soap 5 times in the last two weeks and the strong chemical smell is still there and don’t go away. I read reviews before purchasing and noticed some customers received damaged pieces, but mine came in perfect condition without any broken pieces, paint chips or missing parts. I'm sure most of that has to do with delivery and not the actual company themselves...so thank you delivery driver for handling my package with care. I'm a single mother, so I was a little worried about being able to put this together by myself, yet I had no problems at all. I had it fully put together in about an hour by myself. The directions were pretty simple and not very detailed, but they really didn't have to be because it was pretty self explanatory and simple to follow. I have a naturepedic crib mattress with squared off corners (unlike some of the other rounded corner mattresses) and it fit perfectly snug in the frame. I don't have to worry about extra space between the frame and the mattress for things to get lost or limbs to get stuck, which is a huge plus! I like that the side walls of the bed come up just high enough to contain a squirmy toddler while sleeping, yet short enough for them to get out easily on their own. The bed is very sturdy and well built to stand up to years of toddler abuse. I am extremely happy with my purchase, no regrets whatsoever, it's great! My daughter also loves the details at the footboard for checking off her bedtime routine and playing with the date and time...added bonus! If you are hesitant at all about making this purchase for your little Minnie lover, don't be...it's amazing! Got this bed for my newly turned 2 year old who started climbing out of his crib. It has beautiful graphics. Assembly was a bit difficult by myself and the instructions are pictures only and not very detailed at all. Not very many pieces though so wouldn’t be too bad with 2 people. Feels very sturdy. It did come with a few cosmetic defects but nothing worth sending it back over. My toddler very excited about his new bed. Only had one night so far so will see how it holds up over time. There are 3 slats but the mattress sits practically on the ground which we like. There is a lot of room above mattress so no chance of kids falling out which was a big selling point for us. My son loves his toddler bed. It took me and my husband about 2 hours to put it together. I think that the bed is really sturdy and good quality for the price. It is secure when my son is asleep and he stays in his bed throughout the night. I like that he can't roll out of this bed, because it is a sleigh bed style. The baby loves the bed and I would recommend anyone to get the matching Disney Cars pajamas. My husband thinks that our son's bed is amazing. As advertised. Would buy again. It's sturdy and heavier than you'd think. It's particle-board but it's dense, not at all flimsy.It was easy to assemble. The instructions for assembly could be improved upon but it's not difficult to figure out and you don't need a power drill.The paint finish does have a faint odour, off-gassing, when you get your nose close to it. But you won't notice it if you just walk into the same room as the bed, you have to get your face near it to notice it. Still, for that reason I have not used it yet. I'll wait for it to finish off-gassing, just in case it's not great for the toddler's lungs to be inhaling that all through the night. Read more

Colours are great and bright. Hardware is weak so if you don’t put together perfect you can bend the hardware or damage the bed frame. It does have an odour for a while most went away after wiping it down. Overall it’s good. Read more
