It’s a bed and it performs as it should. It doesn’t do flips or earn any metals but my grandson likes it all the same. It’s easy to assemble and is sturdy enough. Of course a grown man isn’t going to be able to jump up and down on it without causing some damage to it. That being said don’t allow your kid to jump up and down on it. They will fall off and bump their head. Then you have to take them to the doctor. Who wants to do that on a Saturday anyhow. Sheesh. Either way. The bed is a good buy. Our boy likes it. We are happy. My only complaint is that some of the wood slats that go on the bottom came really warped. At that point, we had already taken the crib out and were too far in to assembling this to just stop and request new pieces from the manufacturer. So, just used them.I’d recommend assembling it where it’s going to be, because it’s not the sturdiest thing to move. We assembled in the living room and it was a little sketchy picking it up and moving to her bedroom because it was shifting and bending. I received this product within five days of prime shipping. We have bad weather where I live so it did take a couple more days for it to get to me than usual. This bed was just released, so there weren’t many reviews on this. But I took the risk anyways because I like the way the vet looked. I am a fan of Delta products and I have always use them. There is a distinct smell with the bed, some reviews have also stated this. Mine wasn’t too bad, it just smells like the paint on the bed. There are a few things to note, the paint does chip easily. And if you screw the screws in too hard to make sure it’s stable, the wood will split. We encountered splitting wood when my husband was tightening the screws. But he tightened them way too much, and caused the wood to split. His fault not Deltas. Assembly was easy. Came with the only tool needed to assemble. Instructions were quick to follow and took me and my husband 35 minutes to put together. It’s pretty sturdy and nice, but I do think the paint will peel overtime because as we screwed screws in they were already chipping the paint. If you don’t mind the paint chipping, or want to late on paint it yourself, this is a good bed. I gave it five stars because it looks like the photos, we could put it together easily, and I don’t mind the chipping because it’s not HUGE chips coming off of paint. Very minimal. And because it’s where the screws are you can’t see some of the chipping. It is a good toddler bed. The side rails are optional too, which I liked. Read more

Badly damaged shipping box. Missing a drill hole. Scratches on headboard and most importantly this item REEKS! DELTA website states this item is Green Gaurd Gold Cerified....here on Amazon it does NOT. So there is some serious offgassing happening with this item. This bed was pretty easy to assemble although the directions should label headboard/footboard in direction sheets. A few head/foot board orners were damaged but not enough to go through a return. For the money (you get what you pay for), it was fine. Read more
