This chair has SO MUCH potential. But unfortunately, it misses the mark in a few areas. First off, it's great that it comes compresses in a small box and opens up over time.The problem is, there is a TERRIBLE forward lean to the point where my daughter basically falls out of it every time! I have tried to shape it and make it more flat and sturdy, but nothing seems to work. Now my daughter doesn't even want to sit in it. It's supposed to shape over time but it's been a month and still no sign of losing the lean.I did wash the cover before putting on and have not had the issues with shedding like I've read in other reviews. But as much as I and my daughter want to love this chair, it's just not sturdy enough to be a "go-to" comfy chair. Read more

My only complaint is that it's shape sorta leans forward a bit, making it hard for my 19 month old to stay in it without any effort. She can sit on it, and seems to like it well enough, but it is just a little off from perfect. I bought the one for toddlers for my youngest, considering buying a tween one for my oldest because it is comfortable and made of good and sturdy material. Just not quite a 5 star product.Update: so it's been over a year and I've bought the tween size as well, pictured with two year old for scale. I'm going to up my rating to 5 stars because they have been holding up really well and both my toddler and teen love them. This chair looked great from some of the reviews.The little kiddos looked like they were cozy and appeared to sitting in the chair with no problem.With my chair that I bought for my 1 year old granddaughter it was soft faux fur looked cute (but) when I felt it- it was lumpy and crunchy the bottom was rounded and the chair wouldn't sit up right it would lean forward, I tried to push the stuffing around but you can't, I put my baby on it but she just fell forward we tried several times to shift the stuffing but it wouldn't move. Well I’m assuming I got a different chair than the people who posted pictures of a good looking, functional chair. I’ve seen a lot of December reviews where the chair didn’t expand and the zipper doesn’t work and that’s what I got. It has been 3 days and it’s still just a lump of foam. Super comfy and has become the most loved piece of furniture my daughter has! The packaging is superb and it was initially supposed to be a part of my daughter’s room decor but she sits in it so much that it’s become a staple in our living room! I saw a decent amount of reviews concerned about the chair not "fluffing up". The chair comes in a small box and is vacuum sealed, leaving it to be this small square. In the directions, it says to open it up and let it breathe and take shape...well that never happened. I let it sit for 3 days and nothing happened, until my husband did some work. He had to sit there and break all of the pieces of foam apart from one another, which took a decent amount of time. Then it was finally taking shape. The zipper on our cover was missing the little pull piece so we had to improvise with a safety pin, to be able to open and close it. Once we washed the cover, then it was time to attach it...this was extremely annoying to do but we did it. After all of that, our 3.5 year old has a cute chair that she enjoys. If you are willing to put in the work, the chair really isn't bad. It seems a bit pricey for what it is but as long as our daughter likes it, it's fine. Read more

Washed the cover inside out before using as recommended. I cant put the cover on the chair since the zipper will not open. I’m afraid to force it as it will probably break. The body of the chair has been expanding for over a week. It’s full of hard lumps that will not break apart. There is no way that I would recommend this chair for anyone. Very disappointed! Picture is deceiving. The material inside this chair is really hard and not comfortable AT ALL. The foam inside feels like it’s in pieces and no where near appropriate for a toddler to sit in. The material that covers is a lot larger than the middle part so it just looks like a giant lump! Read more
