I meant to order sterile gauze pads for cleansing wounds. I misunderstood the description of this item, and ordered it instead.This pad has a "non-adherent" surface that lets fluids from the wound be absorbed, yet will not stick to the wound. I have realized these are perfect for their purpose, and am using them for that, as the area I am treating is getting too big for regular bandaids. I am ordering some plain gauze pads for cleansing.Update: I LOVE these gauze pads for bandaging! I had a biopsy in the middle of a severe rash that was getting larger and more inflamed as it was exposed outside the regular bandaid. I slathered the entire area with Aquaphor, slapped this pad on and taped it down, and the rash began to heal. The biopsy is almost fully healed now, and so is the rash. Read more
I wish I had ordered these before my operation instead of waiting until I was running low on regular gauze pads. These are far better than both the woven and non woven gauze pads I was using before. They are more comfortable and as long as I change my bandages at least once a day, they don't stick. The one time I waited over 30 hours to remove them, they stuck a little, but after soaking in warm water for a few minutes, they came right off. With other gauze pads, there was no noticeable improvement even weeks after my operation, as even with soaking prior to removal, they removed too much new skin with them. With these non-adherent pads, I can see more improvement every day than I could see with the other pads in a week. These are the best value I've found for the best sterile pads I've ever used for small/shallow wounds. As a combat veteran with Advanced Combat Lifesaver training/certification and lots of experience treating wounds, I would recommend keeping some of these in every first aid kit. Read more

Needed a large number of sterile nonstick dressings for long term wound care after a failed skin graft. These dressings fit the size and accomplish what I needed, if a little thinner than others I used. I place an absorbent dressing over them, so absorbency was not important. Spread thinly with antibiotic ointment, they remove easily and the wound is healing well. Went for price, as drug store dressings were very expensive. Read more
I liked this product because it came in the size I needed the most and it is hard to find the quantity for my use as I use as many as 3+ a day. The cost was just what I needed compared to the cost in stores. It was used to cover wounds on my husband's leg. It absorbed the drainage and kept it away from the wound and the rest of his leg.
