These are a favorite of mine for wrapping fingers, arms, and toes lightly. The cotton is quite breathable and requires a bit of tape to stay down. This is a good substitution for adhesive allergies, but these wraps are not intended for working/being in water/ doing any work that dirty/dusty/chemicals; in this case, I would cover this with a more substantial/waterproof/life-proof wrap. These gauze rolls come to you unsealed in the box. Just roll gauze in a box. I guess I had expected they'd be individually sealed. Perhaps there are clinics that need these things ready at hand like this, but I use mine as replacements in field med kits, so, no wrap, no bueno. Not many uses for dirty gauze in an IFAK. Them wounds gonna be bad enough without sticking every form of dirt known to Man in the wound. So, maybe there's someone for whom this is good enough, but I don't have too much use for these.These will definitely stick to a wound, FYI. Like in a bad way. Found out around home/office. So, get some kind of wound gel/cream on the skin before you put this down, or else, you're looking at a painful removal. if you buy these expecting any kind of quality you will be very sorry. These rolls are very thin and short. The product description says 4.1 yd. "stretched." if you roll one of these out they are barely 5 feet long. If you "stretch" them you might get to 7 feet but that is a far cry from 12+ feet or the stated 4.1 yards. Cheap product and misleading information. Buy a more reputable brand. Read more
