Despite the popular bad packaging reviews of this product, I went ahead and ordered it because I love Davines products! This is the second time I have ordered from this vendor this year, 2021, and have received my conditioner again in the self contained cardboard box as shown in the pictures. Not broken, fully sealed! People often are quick to note the bad, but not the good or improved. I am writing a review to say this is a GREAT conditioner that a little goes a long way and leaves your hair soft and tangle free! This is my all time favorite shampoo and conditioner combo. My salon that I usually purchase it from has been closed due to COVID, so I figured I would take a chance and order through amazon. When it arrived the lid was cracked and the product had begun to seep out. Thankfully the other item I ordered, which is clothing, was packaged in plastic and not covered in the conditioner. The product itself is AMAZING AND SO WORTH IT, but the way it arrived shows me I will never order it through Amazon again. It’s not even worth the hassle of returning it. I like the conditioner a lot. It's great, but the packaging is cheap and flimsy. It's difficult to open and I dropped the container in the shower losing valuable product. Also, you have to scoop it out with your fingers and this helps spread germs. I don't like repeatedly having to stick my fingers in the container. The vendor needs to look seriously at the packaging. The product is expensive, so give it an good presentation in a quality container. Read more

I love this conditioner! It smells amazing, just a really lovely scent, like smelling the flowers and leaves in the air in a meadow (it’s more natural, no fruity or fake smelling or powdery or overly perfume-y). And the conditioner works sooooo good. A little goes a long way too! I have long curly hair, which I will straighten every few days or so, and this conditioner works so well to moisturize and untangle my long curly hair and leaves is smooth and shiny, whether or not I leave it natural (smooth soft curls, nicely defined) or if I straighten it (smooth, flowy, and soft without fly aways). I think it is also sulfate free which is great because my skin gets really irritated and itchy when I use products with sulfates. It is, admittedly, a bit on the expensive side but you can really feel the difference when used compared to drug store shampoos and conditioners. My one gripe is that I wish the conditioner came in a squeeze bottle with a flip lid, like the shampoo, or a inverted squeeze bottle with the flip lid on the bottom, so I could more easily take it in my gym bag and traveling, etc. without worry the lid was going to come off (I do have a travel size of the shampoo and conditioner but the conditioner also had a jar/lid design that is just round vs square).Overall, I absolutely love this conditioner! This conditioner always leaves my hair soft and more shiny. I use both the conditioner and shampoo and I have a lot less breakage than I did before I started. I have fine hair and it feels thicker now. My only complaint is that the packaging of the conditioner can be a bit fragile. I've had splits in the sides of 2 containers so far, but not big enough to lose the contents. Read more

I love Davines products. I usually get mine from the salon, but seeing as how quarantine has kept me from going there, I decided to order my shampoo and conditioner online. It's definitely sad when you can't at least smell a product before buying it, because this scent was... meh to ick. But it is still wonderfully thick and moisturizing, so I'd still buy it again. Product I love and would recommend for dry hair that wants shine and hydration. It does just the job. Best conditioner I've used in a long time. I got it after my hairdresser used on my hair. My hair looks so shiny and healthy with this conditioner and the matching shampoo. It's not cheap but worth it in my eyes.The delivery of the product was poor. First of all it arrived in unsealed Amazon packaging with the product leaking out of its container an onto the inside of the cardboard packaging. This was delivered by Royal Mail. I sent it back that afternoon to my local Next store. I ordered the conditioner again with the hope it was a one off. This time it was sent by DPD. It arrived the next day intact. The delivery driver knocked very quietly once on my front door then walked off with the product. My husband went to the door straight away as he heard what he thought was a knock at the door. The delivery person was just leaving and my husband caught him just in time. The delivery person didn't give a chance for the door to be opened. Just started to walk straight off. Good when used with the shampoo, otherwise leaves your hair dry and tangled. You need to leave it in for a good 3-5 mins for it to work. Read more
