When I purchased this item it listed the "Grove" model as compatible and I went to install it over the weekend and it does not fit with my Grove crib. So now I have an item that I cannot use because it was falsely advertised and a two year old that has fallen out of bed several times because your listing was incorrect. I see now by looking at the other reviews that at least 3 others bought this because "Grove" was listed in the product description and "Grove" was listed by the seller when other's asked what models this item fits. I see your listing has been updated. However, I have reached out to the seller twice without a response and to Amazon who has told me there is nothing they can do for me other than give me a $10 credit for a $69 item that was falsely advertised in the listing. They told me to contact the manufacturer, but this is not a manufacturing issue, it was a seller issue. I bought the DaVinci Charlie 4 in 1 crib for my daughter, and a few months after she was born, I bought this toddler conversion rail to keep on hand for when it was time to change her bed. My daughter is almost 2 years old now, and I am testing out this toddler rail for the weekend. The toddler rail conversion kit came with an Allen wrench and 4 screws for the rail. After I removed the crib rail, I realized that the holes on the side pieces of the crib did not line up with the holes on the toddler rail. Because of this, I can only have one screw on each side, which makes the toddler rail tilt if my daughter rests against it. I don’t like seeing the gap at the bottom of the rail (pictured). You can see the holes from the crib rail, and I just don’t like seeing the holes. I don’t feel like the rail is long enough to help a toddler from rolling out of the bed. I’m not pleased with this toddler rail at all. Too bad I’m way outside of the return period, or I would be exchanging it and saving up for a toddler bed. Read more

I have the DaVinci Kalani cribs (two of them) and I decided to order these conversion rails instead of buying new toddler beds. It took a few days for them to arrive. I was surprised at how easy they were to install.I discovered that the mattress has to be at the lowest position for the rails to fit. Installation only took maybe 5 minutes. There's a design flaw in that on the side of the rail with the grates the bottom screw is too close to the bottom rail so you have to constantly remove the alan wrench and place it back in the screw to get it all the way in; that's very frustrating. Just what we needed when my son started trying to escape out of his crib at 18 months. It looks nice, and you can attach it to either end of the crib. It also keeps him in his crib and he moves around A LOT! Only quarrel with this is the cost. The crib I bought brand new on amazon for $175 and this this cost $80... I don't see how that makes any sense since this is like a sixth of the materials but I needed it and didn't want to buy a whole other bed, so this is where I am. First thing is we bought ours open boxed for $50 it came brand new so that was nice. It’s cheaper than buying a toddler bed, and my toddler was still used to his bed so it was a nice transition. He was already used to laying down so he never tried getting out of it. Also we still wanted to keep the crib for a possible baby number 2 so Instead of storing the crib we just bought this and will eventually upgrade to another bed. It’s cute and works good. Apparently the different colors of this conversion kit change where the screw holes are. We ordered this for our Autumn Crib in slate. I (accidentally) ordered the gray but wasn't really bothered by the difference in color. However, the gray did not fit the slate. In checking the manufacturer's website, they list the cribs that each color fits and for some reason these are different. It's a little ridiculous but oh well. Read more
