I wanted a fun outdoor soccer ball that my 19mo old could start learning and practice with. I know the recommended size for a toddler this age is a size 1. However after studying the dimensions I thought it would be a waste to get something so small so I got size 3. I think size 3 is perfect for a toddler who might be on the tall side or has good motor skills. This ball is still small enough for my child's tiny hands and lightweight enough for her tiny kicks. the pump that comes with it works out just fine. I even used it for some other balls we have. I actually would’ve purchased this pump as a stand alone item simply because the weight, comfort, & ease of inflation.The fact the accompanying pump came with two tips added more value for me —mostly because both tips can be stored on the actual pump! This is a great idea ...instead of tips rolling around in the junk drawer never to be seen again or forgetting which thingy went to what thingy-ma-bob.Adorable presentation too! This makes such a cute gift for a toddler or baby! I love the fox design. I bought this for my 1 year old for Christmas and he loves it. It comes deflated and comes with a small air pump and it’s super easy to inflate. I also like that it’s made of a sturdy material if a baby or toddler bites into it, they aren’t going to get a chunk out of it (like they might with foam toys). It doesn’t bounce, but it’s fun to kick around and won’t hurt too much if kids are throwing it around and it happens to hit someone on accident. So cute! I bought it for one child as a birthday gift but both of my little boys loved it, so I plan on getting another one. It seems pretty high quality too... We've had it for a month & it's already been kicked around a fair amount. The boys left it outside in the rain and cold for a couple of days but it still looks new. Yes!!!! My toddler loves this ball! Gave it to her at 17 months - she liked it then and even more now at 23 months. It'll be a hit in our house for a long time. We have a rule that the dog can't play with it, as we don't want her to puncture it. On occasion, our 40 lb. dog breaks that rule and picks the ball up anyway. She hasn't punctured it though, so I've been impressed by the durability!The little pump it comes with makes occasional reinflating a simple 30 second project! Love everything about this! Get this! This ball is much lighter than other size 3 balls.Which is a pro or con based on your playerFor my 3 year old this was a positive as it’s his first time playing so it’s nice the balls flies farther with little kicks.This ball is comprised of orange and tan panels. Everything else is cheap rubbery paint decals on top. Keep it off any hard surface at all cost. It has little chips in the design—there are a few little white marks in the sections that are orange. Also, there is some sort of sticky stuff on the ball, almost like residue from an old sticker. I can probably remove it with Goo-Gone... I'm just not thrilled that it seems to be used or at least bought and returned. While I'm sure my nephew will love it for his 1st birthday party tomorrow, I'm mildly embarrassed to give it to my brother and his wife because of the appearance. It's a cute ball, but based on reviews here there's clearly a quality control problem. Disappointing because the print for the eyes, tail and feet of the fox has started wearing off with less than an hour of light use. If your kid will get upset with wear and tear like this as soon as you use it, then suggest you avoid this ball. Read more
