I've been decorating this face of mine for 45 years, using high quality brushes for the last 15 or so. These are hands down, the best brushes I have ever, ever, used (better than IT, synthetic brush sets, Lancôme, you name it). Da Vinci's designers were savvy enough in compiling this set to use natural hair when appropriate and synthetic when that was appropriate. Note that the Professional set has longer handles. I was unsure about that feature, but it really facilitates getting into the nooks and crannies and somehow makes application very gentle yet effective.I paid $69 and would have paid double for this set. These brushes are the best! They make applying make-up fun! Soft brushes that don't shed my make-up looks flawless as the application is even across the different sections of my face. I love brushes and really love to test new products. These brushes are fine, you can do most with this set. I like the eye brushes and the lg powder brushes are fine. If money is no option to you I can suggest these brushes for a trial based on experiences with other brushes, if however you are more inclined to consider money - there are other options for better value.I do love the case, I love the large handles, I love the look.
