I did not purchase this for a hysterectomy. I had a serious car accident that totaled my car and the seat belt fractured and broke part of my ribs and sternum which led to internal bleeding and bruising of my lung. I've had issues breathing and sleeping and bathing myself for a few weeks. I've been worried about wearing seatbelts ever since, but I know logically I can't stop wearing seat belts because the alternative is so much worse.This brings at least some peace of mind. I pray I won't get into another accident in order to test this out. But it provides decently firm padding so I feel it would absorb and distribute some of the pressure from the belt into my ribs and just soften the blow enough to not fracture anything. Read more
I actually love it. It comes in a vacuumed bag so please do not get on here and start complaining that it's nothing like the image and all the crappy complaints yall usually have. No I'm not in no way paid to write this review I purchased on my own being that I just had severe surgery in my abdominal area and need a travel pillow that I can put heat or cold packs in. Had abdominal hysterectomy. Used immediately after surgery to help when sitting up, and when coughing. Tremendously helpful for the ride home from the hospital. Used an ice pack with it and held firmly against my abdomen. Greatly reduced pain from bumps in the road, abrupt stops and turns. I also used it with an ice back to sleep the first few nights and when walking. Two weeks post surgery, still use it with ice pack when feeling sore, laughing or sneezing and every time I am in the car. Highly recommend. Read more
Abdominal surgery left my entire stomach area sore and seatbelts would uncomfortably dig and press into my stomach unless I physically held them away. Wish I had this during my FIRST pregnancy! This was perfect to provide comfort and stability when I had to go in the car. Easy to move between cars, didn't slip or require readjusting.
