I got this set primarily due the fact I recently had one of my back teeth extracted and it still has not healed correctly. My first extraction was done about 8 years ago after I bit into something and broke my tooth. That procedure healed in less than a week, this one continues to bother me, and it's been close to two weeks. I've been tempted to see make an appointment with my dentist however I first wanted to see if it had become infected. This little kit has all the necessary tools to not only clean your teeth (something I'll most like leave to the professionals) but to do a thorough inspection. The kit was quite inexpensive and represents a very good value. The tools are all well-made and packaged in a small, zippered pouch. These are defiantly good quality implements, probably the ones your dentist buys. As for one of the reviews that says and shows a pic of the pointed end of pick not polished, that is the finished product. Anyone working with metal knows that specific area could not be polished to a fine sheen. I would recommend these tools. Read more

good solid tools, watchout for the case, ive gotten poked several times from the instruments coming through where the zipper fabric is, they wont stay in the case regardless of how they are situated. Wish there were plastic caps or something on them to keep from stabbing everything in there vicinity while zipped in the case. these tools are very sharp (if i havent said that enough) and sturdy stainless steel construction.
