I purchased this product along with the Curlsmith Rehab product. I have very high porosity, fine hair that requires a great deal of moisturizing otherwise it tangles and breaks easily. This product did nothing to add moisture to my hair. I wouldn't recommend it. Read more

To all my type 4A/B/C ladies…. NOPE! This ain’t the one sis! Save your money. It is tiny in size (I mean seriously tiny its a crime and completely ridiculous and a dead giveaway that it was not designed for us) it’s enough for maybe 1-2 uses at most. I have 2C 3A thick coarse dry curly ringlet hair.Pro: Turns out, my hair LOVED THE PRODUCT. It feels soft, hydrated, curly, light and fresh. The scent wasn’t too bad either.Cons: I have very sensitive skin upon putting the product on my scalp I immediately felt itchy and irritated. I am upset that I will have to return it after one use. I was really hoping this would help my dry , unrulying , frizzy hair...It didnt, I made sure I following the instructions, perhaps if you use their shampoo it would work better.I use Verb shampoo which works great, however I dont like their mask, because it doesn't work. so I was hoping this one would ... it didnt,,, I will keep searching till I do ...the smell is great...If you hair is not curly , super dry and frizzy, this just may do the job.... I have been working on taking care of my curls and it's been a learning process. This has done wonders for my dry hair. I wet my hair and apply this about a half hour before I wash my hair. It leaves my hair super hydrated without any greasy residue. Read more

Life saving miracle potion. PERIOD. I was using way to many products with protein and my hair was definitely angry. It was constantly in knots (especially at near the roots) my hair felt hard and when untangling I was losing so much hair! I’ve used this mask during my last 2 washes and the results are drastic. The amount of knots has significantly reduced, my hair loss during untangling is cut to like 1/5. My hair is still a bit hard but I think with time this will solve my issue. Loved that I could buy this smaller tube before committing to a big jar. Works a treat for my hair type, 2C High Porosity. I had, over a year period, blonde highlights put into my naturally curly hair to move from brunette to the point where i could start to grow out my natural silver hair to use as a base colour. I have been turning grey since my late twenties but wasn't ready to embrace it until my late forties. Obviously these highlights have taken a toll on my hair. I have also recently embraced the Curly Girl method so this brand is one that fits with this way or caring for curly hair. After the first use I was amazed at the differnce in my hair's moisture levels and softness. I use it periodically as a mask and every other wash I add it from mid lenght to the ends Leave for 5 mins then rinse out. I have been so impressed with this product I took the plunge and order other products from this line. As with any hair care product you need to experiment with the amount you use and how you use it. Ordered this product in desperation to help with my over bleached, extremely damaged, fried hair. I’ve tried so many moisturising conditioners and they all did nothing. So when I bought this I was a bit scared it would be the same result. Delighted to report - it actually works! Used it this morning, for the first time, and my hair is remarkably softer and smoother even has a bit of shine (not seen that in a while..!) I’m feeling the next time I use it, it’s going to be even better. I have fine hair so I don’t need a lot. Although it’s expensive, it’s worth every penny. It also didn’t weigh my hair down or coat it with that sticky feeling you can get. So if you’re hesitating like I was about buying it and potentially wasting more money... then take the risk, I’m glad I did.
