I can’t even put my hair into a proper pony tail. It’s thick and frizzy and stray hairs just flail every which way and it looks like foreign organisms have taken up permanent residence in my hair. My hair and I have a horrible relationship.I purchased the $200 beach waver, where you literally press a button and it curls your hair for you. I manage to screw my hair up after every use. It’s embarrassing. So I downgraded (in price) to the con air curl barrel. I had to call a friend to come over and help me untangle my hair that was severely intertwined inside the barrel. It took an hour to release my hair, with the labor of two people. I lost a huge chunk of my hair and now have a permanent spot sans hair on the right side of my head near my hairline.After using this, I look like a freaking super model. Coming from literally one of the most beauty-challenged people on this side of the hemisphere.I don’t think I will ever believe that my hair looks the way it does after using this. In general, let alone after the first use. It looks the best after an hour or so, which is like the polar opposite of anything I have ever known/read/heard about in the realm of hairstyling.If you can put on socks, you will be able to use this. Update: 4/11/18 The seller contacted me after the review below and sent me a new hair waver. It actually seems to take just a little longer to heat up but gets a little hotter than the one I had before. It works very well and I love it. I purchased a Bedhead traditional waver before I got the Blue Top replacement. Although that one seemed a little easier to use, I did not like the shape and size of those waves. I was glad to receive this replacement. I really like this one much better! My hair goes to about 8-10" below my collar. I raised my review score and if this one lasts for me I will raise it to a 5 star.1st review: I liked the waves it made but it only lasted 2 months. I used it between 10-12 times. It now turns off when I move it. I tried to still use it and do my hair but it is impossible. I am upset that there is only a 30 day window to return this. It is not that I don't like it, but I believe I should receive some consideration for something that doesn't work after 2 months. Read more

Update:I received a new one courtesy of the company. . However the waver still makes my hair stink and the handle feels loose when I grab it, but the only reason I gave 3 stars is because they have AMAZING customer service! I am sure some people like it but I didn't.Okay so I have had this waver for 6 months, and it broke, not only did it break the handle split in 2 where the seam is and then stopped turning on. I had a different brand one that last for 4 years so I know 6 months is not good. This new one made my hair smell like a perm which if you don't know what that smells like it's burnt hair, FYI it was the same temp as my previous one that workes. I wore hair product to protect it for those who are saying I did it wrong. It didn't work. My family are all cosmologist so they suggested to turn down the temp so I did, which still smells and takes way longer to finish. Needless to say. .I wouldn't buy this. Beyond excited to have this tool!! I have very thick hair and alot of it! I have probably only curled my hair about 4 times in my entire life because it is a lot of work, takes and ton of time, and I have never felt that my hair held the curl making all the effort a waste of time. I was skeptical to order this because the price was so inexpensive but thanks to Amazons great return policies I felt good knowing I could try it out. I used it the day it arrived and I was in shock, so simple to use!!! I love the variety of sizes to pick from, switching the barrel is super simple. I can curl my hair in about 40 mins now and will probably get faster with time. I LOVE the glove provided, I do not know how anyone uses a wand without a glove. You definitely can feel the heat through the glove and obviously If you are touching the barrel it's really hot through the gloved but I have yet to burn my hands while wearing it. Oh and the light, it's says led, but do not be fooled it is a switch that you can move from off to 1 or 2. Possibly the light that turns on telling you the heat is on is "led" but it's definitely not an "led display". Good things to know 1. The heat does not turn off automatically when left on for a long time. 2. The "led" light does not indicate when the barrel is up to tempurature. 3. The instructions do not tell you what temperature is setting 1 or setting 2, I use 2 thinking it is the higher setting. Read more

This is the most awesome waver. It creates perfect waves and i use it all the time and I mostly hate doing extra things to my hair. If I use a regular curling iron my curls fall out completely an hour later. If I use this waver my waves stay in for days and after sleeping on it and without using any hairspray. It’s also a great value. I have shared it with all my friends. Only thing is inside the buttons and temp display it has collected condensation upon the first use. It has not affected the performance so not sure if it’s an issue yet. Read more

The media could not be loaded.  Love the wave pattern it gives! This gets very hot great for course hair. Heats up quick and stays hot. I find I have to hold my hair in the barrel for a while to get the desired wave. I think it should heat higher.Update: after this review the seller reached out to me with tips to use the hot tool better. I tried those tips, however I think my thick, long hair is just too much. When I take very small thin pieces of hair it will work, but this process takes me 1 hour. The seller offered me a new curling wand, but I have one already. So they offered me a full refund. Hated this hair tool. I was so disappointed. I don’t think I received the actual product. The hair tool I got had Chinese writing the brands name was no where on the tool and I believe the hair tool was made for only Europe outlets. I live in Canada and it didn’t work in my outlet. I had the tool on its highest levelOf heat and it was not hot for styling. My waves didn’t come out nice at all. My hair can hold a curl or wave, it went flat fast...
