Like you, I was searching for a less heavy foundation to wear every day–you know, something that still has minimal to light coverage but doesn't look too 'heavy baked.'Amazon of course recommend me to two products: (1) CG Smoothers and (2) CG Clean Matte BB Creams. So I bought both and compared, so you don't have to...Please note, I'm a 30 year old mom still suffering will occasional breakouts and uneven skintone. Nothing new, just life...I normally wear the following;- Revlon Colorstay foundation in 150, Buff,- Revlon Colorstay Powder in 830, light/medium- Maybelline FitMe Powder in 110, Porcelain1) CG Smoothers- 805 Fair to LightThe consistency of this product is really smooth and light, more moisturising than tinting. Very light coverage, a little goes a long way, but also doesn't feel heavy on your face. I love that the color is true and doesnt oxydize. I have used this product as part of my daily makeup routine for 5+ years probably. I can hardly ever find it in stores anymore so I’ve recently started purchasing it on amazon. On days when I only want a little coverage, I use it alone. It covers like a tinted moisturizer. It lasts a good portion of the day, and the sunscreen is a life saver. On days I want additional coverage, I mix my physicians formula BB cream with this one as it provides much more coverage. If you are looking for a single product to provide great coverage, this is not it. It will not hide any imperfections, be thick, nor last all day. But it is light, refreshing, good for your skin, and as I said, works great as a tinted moisturizer and sunscreen. I use it every day. I've used many different bb creams over the years and I keep coming back to this one. Two main reasons: price and all-around great product. I love that it has spf, so I don't have to remember to put it on my face daily. It offers very light coverage, so my face doesn't look like I've got makeup caked on it. Love this product. I don't typically wear foundation and I've been using this product as a base, with powder on top. So lightweight, but smooths the tone of my skin. Does not feel oily or greasy. If you sweat within 30 mins of putting it on, it will come off (I tried putting it on for a morning bike ride once), but once it sets it lasts the whole day. I love this BB Cream, it's probably the best cream that I have tried. It's very lightweight and leaves your skin an even tone without giving you the dreaded "cake face" look. I'm not one to always go for a full face of makeup so this is nice to get good coverage without a whole lot of time and effort. Plus it has SPF which is always a bonus in your makeup. I purchased this hoping it would be an inexpensive alternative to the $20+ BB creams out there. I use Marcelle and it is $30. This is basically a lightly tinted moisturizer. I typically can wear my expensive BB cream alone without applying powder or foundation. This gives only moisturizer and the tint is barely visible. I have decided to use this instead of the $30.00 foundation that I typically buy. It is really a great coverage for me. I am a cinnamon complexion and I purchased the medium which blended in pretty well with my tone. I would imagine it would be less effective on skin darker than mines because the cream is lighter than my skin tone. It is not a super thick coverage, which I like. It just gives me a young,fresh,and even glow that my foundation just doesn't quite provide. I do still use the foundation very sparingly, just to cover small hard to cover blemishes. Compré el producto esperando que pudiera ser un match con mi tono de piel, pero no funcionó.El subtono de la bbc es rosado y yo con tendencia amarilla la tengo que mezclar con otros productos, por sí sola a mí no me funcionó - claro que tiene que ver con mi tono, no con el producto en sí.No aguanta los brillos por mucho tiempo, pero se difumina bien y en general es un buen producto.
