We have a very tall for his age child and this booster was nice in that it has a thinner seat height than our other booster seat (the mid point of his head was near the top of the headrest with the other booster seat). With the Cosco booster seat, his head was right where it should be on the headrest. Unfortunately, the Cosco seat design made it difficult to properly buckle him in. The low "arms" on the Cosco seat pushed the lap belt quite a way down down onto his thighs versus closer to his body and the seat belt path is different from most other booster seats - the seat belt is supposed to go both under AND over the armrest (under on the lap side and over the arm rest coming back up to the shoulder). Even though the seat fixed the height issue, the other design aspects made it non-usable for us. It would help if the Amazon description (at least at the time of our purchase) highlighted the unique aspects of this booster. Read more

REVIEW for those who need three across in the backseat!I don’t normally write product reviews but I hope this will be helpful for some that have a similar issue - I have a Chevy Exquinox and 3 kids I need to fit SAFELY in the back! I needed a simple booster that would fit in the middle of the back seat. And I need a cheap one because I’m the babysitter so it only gets used a few times a week. The other two seats are rather bulky and I searched long and hard for a third seat and settled on this! It’s inexpensive, lightweight and simple. I had to Wedge it in between the other two like a jigsaw puzzle and the arm rests are nestled under the other two seats but it fits! I agree with other buyers that it has almost no seat padding but I like that the cover slips off and on easily for cleaning. I added extra padding under the cover and that was super easy! It has nothing to secure it to the seat but it worked out fine for use with the other two seats forcing it into place. I’m not able to reach the seat belt buckle (without nudging the neighboring seat aside) because of the tight fit so I had to order an extension which should fix the problem easily. This is NOT top of the line but it’s exactly what I needed especially for the price. Anything larger WOULD NOT have fit! So I definitely recommend this for tight spaces and it’s worth adding a few extra accessories for comfort. We also love the seat belt padding which keeps the straps in place comfortably. I bought this to replace a seat that was very well worn! This seat is definitely at a great price point & neutral color which makes it even more desirable. I have my son seat in a 2016 chevy cruze & it fits well, but I do wish that this seat clamped in to the car. I do like that it is simple to pull in & out when I have guests in the back seat, but this seat is not desirable for long trips as it tips easily & if your little one likes to move even with a belt on the seat begins to slip. Finally, a slim design booster that doesn't have all the bells and whistles - like cup holders that take up extra room! We needed a slim design booster for a smaller 8 year old. Three car seats across the backseat of a Ford Escape. Seatbelt fits well and the seat itself was fine. No complaints from our little passenger. Even more impressive? This is a no-frills booster that's relatively compact and light weight. It was perfect to take on a recent flight - it fit inside our infant car seat (within an infant car seat bag) that we gate-checked. Lo pedí para mi hijo de 5 años que mide 110cm y pesa 15 Kg pero le quedó grande, cómo se ajusta con el cinturón del coche el cinturón le queda en el cuello, así que lo dejé para mi hijo mayor que pesa 26kg y mide 130cm y apenas le quedó. The product itself seems fine. Light and functional. Smaller than my other booster seat as well which was useful as its a bit squeezy trying to see at that back of the car with 2 boosters.What i am not happy about though is the state it came in. The box was battered and very dirty. It had obviously been opened and re-taped. The seat itself was also dusty and stained. It is supposed to be a new item but I really don't know if it is. Furthermore, the postman left it outside my house without calling me or even texting to tell me.
