I have an in-home child care program and use these for napping for the older infants/younger toddlers. I liked the pattern/color of these, but when I got them, I realized why I'd avoided the Cosco Play Yards. The base mat doesn't have much padding, definitely less than the Graco version and a bigger problem than that was that the pad has an extra fold or two in them, so 1) putting a sheet over it is quite tedious and 2) I noticed that several times the baby had folded up the bottom mat and had managed to have it all discombobulated by the time nap was over-didn't seem safe for that reason. I sent them both back and bought Graco. Read more

I don't have a child. I purchased this for my senior dachshund as a way to keep him from wandering around the house at night. He's blind, deaf, and partially incontinent and has a habit of either hurting himself or leaving a mess on the carpet if he wanders while I'm sleeping. This item was a great investment. His regular dog bed fit perfectly into it, so I didn't have to purchase a mattress. It was easy to open and put up. After some initial confusion, my dog goes right to sleep in it now. I love the simple design and color. Read more

**Updated to add pictures of “dream on me 5” inner spring play yard mattress” inside the play yard.Absolutely worth every penny. We have the 4 moms breeze we use in our living room and I needed another play yard for another area of our house. We also have a guava family lotus travel crib we use for travel. This absolutely compares to the more expensive play yard/cribs! If I would’ve known how great this Costco play yard/crib was from the get go I wouldn’t have ordered the more expensive ones. I love the pocket on the side for storage. If anyone is curious the difference between the regular fun sport and the “deluxe” is basically the pockets on the side and colors. Other than that they’re the same thing. If you are looking at the more expensive play yards/ cribs, save your money and buy this Costco one! If you are having trouble with assembly there is a fantastic video on YouTube that will help you out. Once you get it down, it’s super easy to assemble. Basically you have to lock the top rails into place BEFORE you push down the bottom of the crib. It’s hard to explain but the YouTube video will help you out. I purchased the “dream on me” mattress to go in it. The dream on me mattress lists this crib as being a fit for their mattress. This crib feels about the same weight as the 4moms breeze, maybe a pound lighter. It is also similar in size. The 4 moms is a tad bigger. It folds up and goes in a storage bag just like the 4 moms crib does. I love how it has wheels on one side so you can wheel it around. It’s nice and compact but still spacious enough for my 11 month old. The mattress it comes with is pretty standard and what you would get with any pack n play. It Velcros and stays in place. I took some pictures of the crib at grandmas house. I hope they help someone. The crib looks a little nicer in person without the bright flash from my camera. The room the pictures were taken is was a dark theatre room. Read more

We normally use a graco pack n play when we travel, but this time we needed to fly somewhere, so rather than pay 40 dollars to ship our regular pack n play there, and 40 dollars to ship it back as checked luggage (and hope that it survived the fight without getting broken) we just went ahead and ordered this cosco pack n play and had it Amazon primed to our destination. It is definitely inferior to graco. The mattress won't lie flat unless it is buckled down, which isn't really a problem, but was just something we weren't used to. The other problem is that it is pretty difficult to fold back up. We folded it just fine the first time, but the second time took about half an hour with both my husband and I taking turns trying to get it to collapse and fold up tight so that we could fit back into its portable bag and head to our next destination. In the end we were able to collapse it, but only after manually triggering a release on the outside of the bottom that had malfunctioned ( after only one use!!) If I had been trying to figure this out on my own while simultaneously trying to keep track of my one-year-old and I might have ended up really frustrated. But fortunately my husband was with me and were able to work together to figure out how to make collapse. Otherwise it has been working well. For a cheap pack n play that we are only going to use for a six day trip and then donate somewhere, it is fine, but for a pack n play that you intend to use everyday and take with you when you travel regularly... Not so much. I would recommend graco over cosco. Read more

I originally bought this pack n’ play as an extra play spot for my son to play in at his grandmother’s house. It was easily opened and assembled. Once I got it put together, I instantly realized how much more comfortable to mattress is on this as compared to other (much more expensive) pack n’ plays. It’s not a flimsy piece of cardboard like most. My son used to sleep in a Baby Trend pack n’ play since he was born. The mattress of that started folding in the middle and was just uncomfortable. Once I saw the mattress on this pack n’ play, I instantly felt terrible for making him sleep on the other one. I switched my pack n’ play for this one. The mattress is thicker and much more comfortable for him to sleep on! Don’t let the price fool you, it’s great & totally functional. My son has been sleeping through the night in the pack n’ play for a while now. Read more
