I like this way this smells, and it also goes on clear and dries quickly… Almost too quickly! I got it to use on my 2 year old. Normally we use Coppertone Water Babies Spray Lotion (SPF 50, pink can). I spray both of those on my hands instead of spraying directly on him to avoid any fumes. The biggest issue with this one is that it smells strongly like rubbing alcohol. It has a very strong medicinal scent, even when I spray it on my hands first. Not a good one for faces!! He acts like it stings and tastes bad.I’d recommend for older kids. Stick with water babies for toddlers & 6M+. The best part about this is how well it stays on in the water. He can go in and out of the pool, and still have ample protection. I reapply every hour, and so far no burning!I’ll definitely wait a few more years before re-ordering this one. I use this in combo with coppertone defend and care with zinc sunscreen cream. It works awesome and prevents burns. I apply the cream first and use this for double duty on the spots that tend to burn fast. I used on my kids too and it keeps them from burning as well. It’s especially handy to spray on on your hand and pat into the hairline to keep the scalp from being burned and doesn’t leave the white residue cream does in the hair. Read more
