I’ve used Coppertone with both of my kids for years and never had an issue, so I don’t know what in the world is with this particular product on Amazon but it didn’t work for either of my kids! I don't think this is really coppertone sunscreen. Tried it twice both times it irritated my skin, and I got sunburnt. which never happens from the coppertone I buy at the drugstore, and have used for years. I threw them away... I bought my son block very early this year I don't know why and I'm embarrassed to say that I did not check to make sure that it was reef ocean safe so I do not even remember if I used this sunblock I'm sure I did I mean I've been using this for as long as I can remember so I'm not knocking them and I know that they make it because I bought it over in Hawaii and I'm not saying that these bottles aren't but I'm saying that I didn't check so I am now you know going to always check and hopefully you all will too it's not that hard you just see the little circle and it says that it's safe I mean obviously now they say it's all of this cancer causing stuff too I don't know if they're going to make that clear or not I mean you know the sunblock going to give you cancer or is the sun going to give you cancer it's a nightmare but again I'm sure that I used this I have been using this for as long as I can remember as I said and I'm sure I used up the three bottles like it was nothing because you know as I said I live in San Diego and I like my skin to be bronzed but I also don't want to get skin cancer so I have absolutely nothing negative to say about them but I do appreciate the fact that they are also and hopefully will make all of their products reef and ocean safe Read more

We like this sunscreen for how well it works and ease of application. The only downside is that I notice more staining on suits and tshirts when we use the spray than when we use lotion. That doesn’t stop us from purchasing it though. Read more

I am a scuba diver. I am also a guy and guys don't usually let other guys smear sunscreen on them, and being a bit reserved I am lothe to ask a female that I don't know to do this either. This aerosol spray allows me to get the necessary coverage over my back without having to get someone else to smear it on. If on a moving boat I will move to the stern to apply so that I don't cover everyone else on the boat!
