As someone whose family spent a lot of time out in the sun when I was young, I have had a number of basal cells removed. I am now very careful outside and a bit of an expert on sunscreen. You don't have to buy the most expensive, dermatologist recommended brand, but you do have to have a physical blocker like zinc oxide, and not a chemical blocker (which are in general no longer recommended by most dermatologists). This one for sensitive skin won't cause any break-outs, and will actually help heal any little scrapes on your body. A must for kids, and recommended for adults, too. Our whole family uses it. I highly recommend anyone with babies buy this in store instead. I wanted to avoid the stores with everything that’s happening so I purchased this much needed item because we play in the backyard/pool. It came with no safety or protective seal at all. I do not feel reassured that this product meant to be put on my baby hasn’t been tampered or manipulated with. For a product targeted for kids/babies you would think they would put some sort of protective seal to avoid tampering and also so it doesn’t leak all over the mail?! The one mailed to me had black marks all over it and appeared already used. I opened it up to find half of the bottle is already empty. Complete waste of money. I have used this brand of sunscreen on my kids for years. I was excited to see they offered a more natural alternative. However, it was incredibly hard on my son’s skin. By the end of the weekend, which included 3 days of use, my son’s neck and face looked awful and were very painful. The back of his neck felt like sandpaper and was red and sensitive. It’s taken nearly a week of constant moisturizing to get it looking normal. My daughter did not have the same reaction but said it felt like her face was burning when she wore it. This stuff is terrible. I chose it based on the sensitive skin, water resistant, and the brand name of Coppertone. I tried it, re-applied twice through an afternoon of swimming as one normally does, and it didn't work at all. I got a bad burn, and on top of that, it dried out my skin and hair quite a bit. We also noticed it seemed to come off in our pool, and left visible a white ring around the liner. We noticed it on kids swim vests too. This stuff just is awful, and I'm highly disappointed it was from Coppertone. I got a refund from Amazon and called the company to complain.Stick with the original water babies. I appreciate that this item for being 100 percent natural botanicals. It was not irritating to my skin. However, this product is difficult to blend into the skin, it kind of just sits on top of the skin and is difficult to wash off. Additionally, if you are tan, you will look like Casper the ghost. This is the first sunscreen I've used on my children's skin that doesn't irritate at all. It's a little more liquidy than other sunscreens we've used, and if it lays on its side of upside down (closed), sometimes spills. Yet, I'd give it 5 stars because we all of super sensitive skin and find summers hard because we haven't found any other sunscreens that work well and don't irritate our skin. This product is A+!
