I am not sure what I was expecting but when I squeezed some out in my hand it looked like make up. Sort of a beige color. It also came out really fast so it seemed a little more runny than what I was expecting. I applied some to a white paper towel to show how much beige color is in this productThe glitter is a nice touch. In my case I feel like the glitter was very subtle, and once I rubbed it in it looked absolutely fine. Just a very subtle fine sparse glitter. The thing I really did not like was the scent. It’s just really strong and perfumey. I just put a little on the back of my hand and I had to wash my hands. I can not imagine putting this on my whole body. Yuck! I wish it just smelled like copper tone suntan lotion and not this thick scent.Personally I will not be using this again because of the scent, and while I like the shimmer, I do not like the idea of make up color all over my body. I can see it rubbing off and leaving the beige color on my clothes. This is so insanely unbelievable. I am 24 years old and Polynesian-skinned (don't burn easily) and this has never happened to me in. my. life. I am so extra precautious because I don't ever want to push skin diseases from too much sun exposure even though I love the sun. I always purchase SPF 50. I was so excited about this new fun glow formula.I went to the beach here in NYC for the 4th of July and practiced my normal SAFE way of reapplying sunscreen (sometimes I will apply too much in smaller time intervals) to come out FULLY RED and FULLY IN PAIN to the point of tears. After so much precaution!!! I lived in the Caribbean years ago and this NEVER HAPPENED TO ME. I can't believe I fell victim to being a guinea pig for this crap Coppertone product.The reason you purchase an SPF 50 is so that you are not irresponsible with the sun. I feel like an absolute joke and so stupid when I did nothing wrong besides by a bad formula. Please save yourself and your health. I can't believe this is even called a "sunscreen". I also plan on contacting Coppertone because of how dangerous this could potentially be for so many people. I was looking for a sunscreen for my spring break trip in FL. The GLOW name caught my eye. It reminded me the scene in Twilight where Edward sparkled in the sun. It would be fun to sparkle:-) So I quickly placed an order. I got the SPF 50 for better sun protection. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it felt on skin! It was every easy to apply, not greasy at all! It has a super light feel, almost like a lotion. It immediately became my favorite sunscreen. When I first applied this sunscreen, it looked really nice. The shimmery glow was very pretty... initially. Unfortunately, withing an hour or so, the shimmer had disappeared and the only thing remaining were specks of glitter all over my arms. Not a great look for an adult. I love the light tint and illumination from this product. However, I do not feel it provides the same protection as other copper tone SPF 50 products I have used. Being extremely fair skin this is important to me.The product has a light scent that is nice. However, you need to be prepared with some way to rinse it from your palms after application or everything you touch will be covered in sparkle. I would love to see it in a spray bottle form. Also, DO NOT wear anything white and sweat with it on. My favorite whiter shirt fell victim to the tint from the product and the stains cannot be removed. Read more

This is the best sunscreen I have ever used and as long as they continue to make it I will continue to buy it. It’s free of the chemicals that other sunscreens contain that have been linked to increased cancer rates. It has a slight warm tint to, but not like a noticeable self tanner. The shimmering minerals in it are subtle rather than looking like you’ve doused yourself in glitter (not that there’s anything wrong with dousing yourself in glitter, but there is a time and place for everything I’m told). The smell is pleasant. It wasn’t greasy or oily. I was on a Bahamas cruise for a week and when I returned home my skin was more beautiful and youthful than when I left. I 100% recommend this product. I’m not sure if it was just my skin or if I was out too long but I don’t have sensitive skin and after using this sunscreen my skin is SO red and itchy. I used it on Saturday Sunday and Monday. Today is Friday and my skin is STILL so itchy. I don’t know if it’s dry from being in the sun but this has literally never happened to me and it’s lasting so long.
