I hate the way it feels on my lips, I hate the taste and I do not feel that it moisturizes my lips as well as the old model did. I was looking for a lip balm that had SPF in it and an article recommended this product, so I tried it. This is one of my favorite lip balms now, amongst all including non-spf options. The texture is not too greasy and thick on your lips and it seems to last longer than others I’ve used. I don’t feel like I need to reapply often or that my lips dry out after using it like Chapstick does and it doesn’t feel heavy like some natural brands. The only drawback for me is about 15-20 minutes after applying, you can start to taste a gross chemical flavor related to the sunscreen. Probably would be worse if you lick your lips often. I think the only way around the chemical flavor issue is to use a mineral based lip balm, but risk the weird appearance of that. Read more

I’ve purchased this lip balm several times through Ulta, planet beauty & Macy’s. Unfortunately, it seems they’ve all stopped carrying it so I had to order through Amazon. The product I received is not what I’m used to. Either it’s fake or coola changed the formula. It used to glide on Sikh smooth and now it’s chalky and hard to apply. I love the product but when I finished the last tube, I opened the new one and it was broken. Unfortunately it was after the return date. I am wiling to pay the price but want it to be usable. I guess my advise would be to open the product as soon as you receive it and make sure it is usable. Read more

I had been a repeat customer for this lip balm. It was ultra moisturizing, smooth, and felt luxurious. Unfortunately, they recently changed the formula (and the color of the tube - it's a slightly darker blue now). Now it feels and works no better than ordinary Chapstick, probably even worse. The bottom of the Lipluxe (the part you twist) has fallen off when opening brand new, twice. I returned it once and then kept it the second time with The product itself is lovely and I have very sensitive skin. A functional tube would earn all the stars! Read more
