This brush is exactly what you would expect from this brand ( if you have purchased them in the past I purchased this brush hoping that it did not have metal ends but was a little confused as the title described the product as having them but the pictures and other reviews described them as plastic. Other than the listing confusion this brush brand and design are long lasting. This is to replace a brush that lasted nearly 6 years. Eventually the glue to the base lets loose ( especially if you are brushing wet hair) but I will purchase again.This is for my husband, as I have curly hair and this brush is too harsh for wet curly hair and will break or rip knots out. I have brought one of these each year for 5 years. This is an excellent brush for long, fine, curly hair. The nature of the brush makes it difficult to clean, which is why I purchase a replacement annually. Unfortunately, the ball tips started coming off my most recent one. After you lose more than a couple it really scratches your head! So this last one brings my rating from 5 stars to 4. I would love to be able to choose a color, but that is pretty minor. Read more

The brush seemed sturdy at first glace but after my first use I noticed the bristles kept getting caught in my curls. It's been closed to a month now & It's obvious to me that The brush is extremely low quality. I have two daughters that somehow can never find a hairbrush. I don't know what happens to the brushes, but there must be a something about the FL climate that causes them to evaporate! I decided to order a bunch of value-minded brushes and distribute them as needed. Both my daughters love the "wet brushes" but those things are pricey. This Conair pro seems very similar at about half the price. I ordered a pair and they seem well made. I barely have any hair, so unfortunately I can't report on their use, but I have mixed reviews from my daughters. Both kids have long hair. Neither really brush as often as they probably should. One has a very tender scalp, and she does not like the brush. According to her it is too stiff/tough. The other one has a not-so-tender scalp and likes the brush. She also tends to have more knots (dreadlocks occasionally) and this brush gets through her hair better than a wet brush. So... one "yes" and one "no" from my users. I guess it comes down to personal preference, but I can't say there is anything wrong with the product. Read more

I have been buying Conair wire bristle brushes since my early 20s and they are the best I’ve ever used. I have thick hair so I like a brush that is actually going to go through it unlike plastic bristle brushes that just kind of slide over knocks and kinks. These brushes also last forever! I had the one before this for almost 10 years and it just recently started dying and losing bristles.I recommend this brush to anyone with thick hair who likes the feel of a brush actually going THROUGH all of your hair. I’ve been using this brush every day for two months. It does come with a smaller brush that I haven’t used yet as well. Only two bristles have come out as seen in the pictures above, which is amazing if you know the struggles I have with brushes and my hair. I have broken countless brushes both “cheap” and “good quality”. My hair is thick, strong and curly (2C-3A) and I have a lot of it. Granted, my hair is shoulder length so it might not work as well on very long hair. I use it when my hair is both wet and dry and it works well for me. Of course, I wish the two bristles hadn’t fallen off, but for $3 a brush, I can’t really complain! Since you’re supposed to change out your bruh every 6 months to a year anyway, I’m sure it’ll last until then. It’s very lightweight and comfortable to hold as the grip is a smooth material. Let’s be real here, it’s impossible finding a 2in1 pack like this anywhere, especially for the cost it’s displayed at. I was shocked and even more satisfied when it got delivered to me. Growing up, I always wondered why brush’s were so much money and I was shocked/ excited coming across this ad on Amazon the other day. My daughter has very thick hair and normal brushes haven't seemed to brush through it without causing some sort of pain or pulling. This brush is amazing and she is now obsessed with brushing her hair and insists on doing it herself as it is that easy. I would recommend this product to anyone. I find the metal pins a bit hard but the brushes work perfectly! Kept one for myself and gave the smaller one to my 10 year old daughter and it’s perfect for both of us! Can’t use it on my 2 year old as she says it hurts... must be the metal pins! Read more
