I need a hair dryer FOR the brush attachment, but this one fell off in just minutes of using, so I sent it back. I have been buying Conair driers, with brush attachments for many years, but this model is different. The big difference is that all of the atttachments slide or click on, but are open ended at BOTH ends; hence they fall off!!The model I had been using and will be buying again is the Conair INFINITI PRO. All the attachments are enclosed at both ends, so never, ever fall off. In addition, the brush has at least twice as many bristles, as compared to the thin bristles on this model. Read more

I bought this because the other one (same exact one) that I've had forever had a problem with the attachment coming of as I was brushing my hair. I just thought it was old and worn so I took my chances and bought another one. I used it one time and it looked promising at first. At the end of my blow dryer session the new attachment started to fall off as I was brushing. Im not sure if it has something to do with the heat and the plastic but it never stayed put again. AMAZING. My natural hair is all different types of textures from wavy to looking like I crimped it and it’s kinda thick. It took me no time to dry my hair and I started out with it pretty wet and now it soft and straight. I have always used the 3-in-Style Hair Dryer and I have to replace them every 1 to 2 years because of the regular use, but this one in particular started has been giving me issues after the 7th time I used it. The dryer works fine, but the problem is the brush attachment, it comes off so easily when I am drying my hair. I need to be tie it in place. It seems like the brush may not be fitting properly, but since my return window has been closed I can no longer return. I hope someone contacts me to find a solution to this problem. I ordered this hairdryer for the brush attachment because I have had many like this in the past. It would usually be very easy to straighten hair with it. Except the brush is such a loose fit that it falls off at least two dozen times every time I do my hair. The combs fit fine but the brush is clearly faulty. This is especially a problem for me because I recently had shoulder surgery and can only use one arm for both the brushing and drying of my hair. I wrote to the company to let them know about the issue and my need for a brush replacement. After several emails back-and-forth which were truly a waste of time, they gave me a link To be able to purchase an additional brush for more money. I reached out to them before giving a review explaining how the attachment wouldn’t fit or work and asked if I could have a replacement. They wrote back to me asking me for the model number and everything so it seemed optimistic that they were willing to help. In the end, they were not only unwilling to help, but truly did waste my time and then did not respond again when I explained that I would have no choice but to leave a poor review if they couldn’t fix the matter. It seems unfair to have to pay for a faulty product. In the end, I am giving it a one star review because both the product and the customer service where below par. Read more

It's very difficult to find hairdryers of this style anymore, so I was happy to find this on Amazon. I need one with the comb attachments so I can straighten my hair as I dry it. I've had this brand before ... it works well and is relatively quiet. It was just what I needed at a great price ($18) and delivered in two days. What more could I ask for? I've used this hair dryer for 15 years. My only and consistent complaint is that they attachments do not stay on very well. The brush usually comes off several times during my dry time. I've noticed over all the dryers of this model I've owned, some attachments stay on better than others. I bought the upgraded model of this dryer 8 months ago and it's already died. The attachments however clicked on and stayed. But I came back to my ole' trusty dryer that I know will last me several years. I usually get 3+ years out of these dryers and buy the replacement brush through Conair every 6 months or so. Read more
