Nice little compact hair dryer. Enough power to dry and style my shoulder length hair in a straight style and remove some natural waves. I purchased this to take to the gym, don't know if I will need to travel with it. Switching from 125 to 250 volts will require a screwdriver or a dime to turn the screw. One issue is the painted on arrow that indicates voltage could wear off with time. I will have to remember that the slot (for the screwdriver) points away from the voltage being used. Read more

I needed a travel hair dryer so I decided to give this one a try. It was packaged well and was foldable for easy packing. Unfortunately thats where the pros end.It's worse than a hotel hair dryer: it doesn't blow air hot enough to round brush your hair, the high setting barely blew enough warm air to dry my hair - it look almost 20 mins (I have shoulder length fine hair that typically dries in 5 mins or less with a normal hair dryer), and the nozzle is really short so my hair kept getting sucked in the back. I had one of these blow dryers that I used to use when I went backpacking through Europe and some of my other travels growing up. My daughter is now getting ready to go out on her first trip to Europe this coming summer and I found the same blow dryer I used to use. It’s small, but powerful. I love how it folds up and I can still use my European plug adapter on the end and it doesn’t change the speed or cause any power problems. Its getting used by my aunt over there and we got to use it over the entire summer period we spent it on the beach.------Bought this for my wife to take with us to Dubai and then to Lebanon on the same trip. Very compact, lightweight, but man, that thing is sooooo powerful! My wife was surprised because it performed better than her $80 brand name hair dryer. We used it (yes I did too lol) every day for 15 days because we were vacationing on the water and had to style up for the night. Do not buy this product! It lacks in safety design. The end of the blow dryer has no filter cover (barrier). The hair can easily get sucked into the spinning fan. Some of my hair got sucked in and burned on few occasions (yes, I didn't learn my lesson until recently). Each time I couldn't pull any of my hair out that was stuck even after turning it off right away. I always end up cutting some hair. Today it happened again but this time the blow dryer would not restart. It just stopped working. I would not recommend this product because it's dangerous especially if you have longer hair. I have owned this model of hair dryer for as long as Conair has been making them. A long, long time. A few times over the past years, I have bought another brand to see if I can find an even better blow dry experience, and the answer has always been NO. About six months ago, I bought a more expensive ionic hair dryer made by another brand and while I didn't love it, I have now grown to really dislike it. So recently, I purchased another Conair Vagabond Compact dryer and I am as happy as can be. It dries quickly, the heat level is very stable and it is as light and compact as can be. It is especially great for traveling and I always keep one of them in my suitcase ready to go. And they last for years and years at a time. What more could you ask for? Read more

En general un buen producto, que compré para cuando estoy de viaje. Comparándolo con otro observo estas diferencias:1 - El producto es más pesado que el anterior (de un tamaño equivalente). Esto sugiere que es de una mejor calidad, sin embargo es algo a tomar en cuenta al estar preparando el equipaje.2 - Muy conveniente que el mango es plegable, así ocupa menos espacio en el equipaje.3 - El botón de aire frío respeta la intensidad de aire seleccionado. En otras palabras, si está seleccionado el aire bajo, apretando el botón poco aire deja de ser calentado. Y si está seleccionado el aire alto, entonces mucho aire deja de ser calentado. In general I really like the compact nature of the dryer and it works well. Unfortunately the button you press to get the dryer to blow cool air instead of hot does not stay depressed on its own. I had this model before and this button worked great, but on this machine the user has to constantly hold the button down which is a real pain. Probably just a glitch on this particular one.
