I bought these for both our bathrooms, along with these bolts  Hibbent Toilet Mounting Bolts - 3 Various Choice Toilet Seat Hinges for Your Bathroom Toilet Seats Installation - with Expanding Rubber Fix Blind Hole and Nuts Screws Downlock - 3 Solution . Between the two super cheap purchases we have a much more stable seat. My only problem with these was that it's very easy to drill right through the toilet seat, which I did on one of the eight screws (2 toilet seats X 4 screws). Patched it with wood putty and you can't even tell but do be careful! Not a fault of the product, just that I didn't mark the drill bit with tape before drilling (too much of a hurry). These clips are nice to keep your toilet seat from moving from side to side,. when shifting your weight on the toilet seat. You have to be careful when drilling the holes to attach them, (so you don't accidentally drill thru the seat). These can only be used on wooden toilet seats. Read more

The item works as advertized. I used them on two of my toilets, both equipped with "aftermarket" solid wood toilet seats.To be honest, whilst the installation did not challenge me, I read instructions, look at the item carefully and decidethe correct way to fit it, myself. I did not use the elastic bands but I used two sided tape to stick them where I wantedthem to be, used a steel pick to punch holes through the provided holes and the two sided tape. Took out my power drillwith the wood bit best suited for the job, put a depth stop on it and drilled the holes. Had to use a converter app toconvert inches to millimeters. After drilling the holes I removed the two sided tape from the items, cleaned them with alcohol and put some epoxy resin on them. Then I screwed them into the holes I made in the toilet seat. After that I let itrest for 24 hours.Now it is absolutely rock solid! The item is great, no doubt about that, but installation might need some thought. Read more

Having a husband who is larger than most the seat of our toilet(s) tend to loosen and slide to one side. These little stablizers prevent that problem. We are so happy to have a found a product that does what it says! Read more

My wife has been hospitalized for over 6 years out of state and as I help her bathe I hate when the toilet seat moves around as I help her in the shower and wash her. Holds the toilet seat in place so it doesn’t unlock or become loose at the hinges. I guess we sit on the potty weird in this house and went through two seats (didn’t have unlockable hinges) before buying one that unlocks and this. Didn’t even need the unlock but I’ll take that sucker with me if we move (probably not these are inexpensive enough I’ll just get another set.) Makes the seat immobile these rock! Read more
