Update: these suffered the same fate so many reported. After a few weeks, they turn off after 5 minutes or so. Item returned,-----------------------------------This heats both the bottom and top of your feet, which is MUCH better than just heating the bottom. It seems especially good for the toes.The fabric is soft, and it heats up quickly. It's really clever - the heating pad folds over itself (to make the pocket for your feet), and zips closed. Be sure to push the zipper lever all the way down to lock it, so the zipper doesn't open when you insert your feet.I think it could be a bit warmer, but I find that the feeling of warmth increases the longer you have your feet inside the pocket. So overall, I'd say the heat level is on the lower side of acceptable - and I'm not sure more heat would be safe for your feet.The unit comes with a nice travel bag, which is nice. I wish the control cord were a little longer; it reaches about up to my knees, another 18-24 inches would be nice.I hope it lasts, but I'm not holding my breath. It seems well made, though. I really like the foot warmer. It is soft and the temperature gets really warm, not too hot. I do wish the zippers held a bit more firmly though - it unzips too easily. Overall, I am happy with this purchase. Read more
