The moment I turn it on, he runs to it and pushes everything and everyone out of the way so he can put his head under it. I am starting to question if this was a good purchase because he is constantly asking for the massages. But for now I will keep both the pug and the Comfier. I wish I didn't wait so long to buy this device. I saw Whitney, a natural hair blogger do a review on one of these (Not the same one) but it was 80.00 bucks and I did not want to pay that price but I wanted a massage device to help with blood stimulation for hair growth. I have been debating for months to purchase this item and I am now in love. Also I had a headache the other day which I rarely get and I used this baby and boom! Headache gone! After decades of super short hair, the pandemic made it impossible for me to get a haircut. I have been letting my hair grow since February (2020). It was very slow going. I had to relearn how to take care of longer hair, which is now primarily silver and white, plus there is so much new info about curly hair and porosity! 😳 After watching a video about scalp massagers (they were all manual), I got this device in November 2020. The length of my hair was at the top of my neck. It is now (near the end of January 2021)) touching the top of my shoulders. I use this scalp massager almost every night with leave-in conditioner and oil for low porosity hair before I braid my hair and put on a satin cap. Is it helping my hair grow? I like this massager, definitely catches you off guard when you first try it since it feels a little funny and unusual. A few seconds later and it feels good. I like to use it on the slow setting with the vibrations on. Some people have commented that their hair gets caught, that might be the case for extremely curly hair. My hair is on the curly side and has no problems though. The only problem is that when using it on yourself the handle feels a little weird. I kept wondering which side to hold it. I WAS enjoying this little scalp masager....until it RIPPED a chunk of my hair out! The spinning mechanism somehow got twisted up in my hair. The rubber feet pop off for safety to prevent this - but they OBVIOUSLY don't protect your hair from the gears! You need to hold down the button to turn it off and it takes about THREE SECONDS before the spinning stops - and three seconds is a lot of time when it's ripping a chunk out of your head.This thing is DANGEROUS. I had to BREAK it to get it off & it ripped a hunk of my hair out. Very painful. Awful product. I want a refund. Do not buy. Read more
