My 4th purchase of their Colour Me line. These are the notes stated from their official website at Milton Lloyd: An elegant rich modern fruity chypre fragrance. The fresh top notes of bergamot and watermelon are boosted by a subtle floral accord of pretty jasmin, rose and violet notes. The dry down is a tenacious blend of oakmoss, amber and precious patchouli woods.The positive reviews swayed me to try it. This perfume smells just too patchouli. The patchouli over powers the floral notes. I have nothing against patchouli as long as their is a balance and harmony with the other notes. This patchouli over powers and is reading burned rubber!!!! Yet my spouse tells me I smell powdery. Like your most linear generic powdery smell you smell in beauty drugstore products. Yes the perfume lasts over 6 hours, but, this perfume is suited for someone in their 60s not a young teen ,20 something or 30something. WHAT A SHAME!!!! I will say what may smell bad on someone will smell good on you, so keep that in mind. After buying 4 Colour Me perfumes (the black, blue, neon pink and this purple one), I will not try the others. This product smells absolutely atrocious. I did one quick spray on the arm of my shirt, and it reeked for 3 Long hours. Everybody that I have let smell it comes away from the experience looking like they just sucked on a lemon.I am definitely Not a fan.I think I’m just going to leave it on a counter in a public place with a note on it in the hopes that someone (that I will never come in contact with) takes it home, but something tells me that it will still be sitting there, months later.... I don’t have the words to properly express how much I detested this perfume. It was overbearing, overpowering,and very much an unwanted addition to my home. In short it was like a visit from a horrible mother-in-law. A very short visit because after I sprayed it the first time, discovered that because it was a liquid Amazon would nit take it back, I sprayed it again and very promptly threw it in the trash. Color me purple has become my favorite scent in years!!I have the perfume and the body spray, I always make sure to stock on themThe only thing is that since Milton Lloyd closed it's US website and there's no longer the rewards points which always saved me the shipping fees which I consider too much if you purchase just a single item!!! Hope they will be able to fix this as it discourage customers from trying new products! I used this perfume for last 12 years, when its not even available in the States. I used to buy it in Dubai and in UK. I am happy that its available in the US finally. I bought it as a Christmas gift, and to be honest I only ordered it to get my order total over £20 for free delivery!When it arrived I loved it! The fragrance is fresh and sparkling! Begrudgingly I wrapped it up, but then found myself ordering one for me! It's a fine mist spray so it's easy to use a lot, but it's such a lovely scent this isn't a problem!At £5 for 50ml it's fab for everyday wear.I've since ordered another Colour Me purple!..And a Colour Me pink! From the reviews I expected a pleasant floral smell. I actually find the smell repulsive myself. It smells like a cheap spray with times I can only describe as the cheap perfumes you get from those women that sell perfume in club toilets.
