I used these to avoid getting sick, not just to shorten any colds I might get. However, I really never get sick anymore because of these. Every time I'm starting to feel symptoms like body aches, or a sore throat, I take a couple of these and I wake up feeling just fine!I learned about Zinc from a micro biologist friend, she recommended them and said they really do work, especially when taken at the right time.
