Product Description Codeage Wild Caught Marine collagen peptide contains 100% pure bioactive marine collagen sourced from wild caught and deep-ocean white fish in North America cold waters. Marine collagen peptides is a premium source of type I & type III collagen and an ideal solution for non-meat eaters. This fish collagen supplement also features 18 amino acids, is hydrolyzed to help its digestion and is hypo-allergenic. This fish collagen is an alternative to porcine and bovine collagen.* Codeage formula is non-GMO, gluten free, and paleo friendly. It’s a pure hydrolyzed marine collagen solution: no additives, preservatives or sulfites are used. Ever. We find collagen in many parts of our body. Collagen is one of the most abundant proteins in our bodies (especially the type 1 collagen). Collagen is used in our muscles, digestive system, bones, face and skin, our blood vessels and tendons. Collagen can be seen as the adhesive of our different body parts. Collagen also plays an important role to help with the natural beauty and elasticity of our skin. Another interesting fact about bio marine collagen type 1 and 3 is that it is one of the most environmentally sustainable sources of collagen. Marine collagen made from fish scales could help reduce environmental pollution and provide an alternative source of collagen protein. As the fish used in our marine collagen is wild caught and that an enzymatic process is used to extract the collagen, a variance in color, taste and smell is expected and completely normal. High-Quality: Codeage places the highest priority on product quality. Our products contain high-quality ingredients and are manufactured in the USA in a cGMP facility.

It’s about time I write this review already. If you’re looking for a good collagen product, my recommendation is to go with this one.1. Yes it tastes pretty gross, but the fish taste is nearly not as strong as something like cod liver oil. The way I take it every day is by mixing with water, drinking it while holding my breath, then having a sip of my favorite mocha coffee immediately after, before breathing in. It might taste like nothing mixed in with coffee, but I haven’t tried that yet. Not interested in ruining my favorite drink with potential fishiness.2. About the reviews saying it’s clumpy: Wrong. If you mixed it with water (or drink of choice) using a spoon to break it up, then *leave it alone for a few minutes*, ALL OF IT DESOLVES. If you mix and let it rest the right way, it has the consistency of water. The powder completely disappears.3. Collagen has a lot of benefits, but I was most surprised about the subtle stress balancing/relaxing effects of this product. Did some research and figured it had something to do with the amount of glycine (3,736mg). Feel free to do more research on that if you’re curious. This is a great product with promising results. Don’t let the flavor scare you. It’s worth it. Read more

I am about 3/4 of the way through the container and it’s made my nails grow back three times in as many weeks. And my new growth is crazy! I started taking it about two weeks after I dyed my hair! I have yet to see any movement with the wrinkles on my forehead, but it’s a process and I am all in!! Read more
I eliminated red meat from my diet (except for very rare occasions) about 5 years ago, so it was great to find a collagen that wasn't sourced from bovine. Yes, it does smell a bit like fish when you open the container - it is made from fish, so that's to be expected. When I mixed it with hot tea, it wasn't a great taste. However, I've started mixing a scoop with my daily green smoothies (which I make just once weekly and then freeze) and you can't taste a thing. I've also mixed it with shaker protein smoothies and it is undetectable that way as well. The jury is out on whether my hair and nails are stronger, as I didn't use this jar consistently until I found a good way to mix it, but I do feel a positive difference in my joints, for sure. I will happily continue to use this product. Read more
I bought the Marine Collagen Peptides after having finished a complete container of their Multi Collagen powder and had ordered a second one, when I began to suspect that the Multi Collagen one was causing acne breakouts in my skin. I am over 50, and suddenly, I was getting multiple breakouts along my hairline and on my face. After ruling out everything else I was putting on my face and scalp, I googled bovine collagen and found that some people do indeed, seem to get breakouts from bovine collagen. So, I am about two weeks in to the Marine Collagen. It appears that it causes fewer breakouts, but still seems to cause some. So, why do I continue to use it? Because I notice that my skin seems to heal faster when I am taking the collagen supplements, and some of the long time imperfections I have on my skin seem to be fading a little. I will try to keep a critical eye on it and perhaps take some close up photos of my areas of concern and see how they compare after I finish this container.I haven’t noticed any fishiness to the product. I stir it into my coffee and don’t really notice a difference in taste. That by itself means that I am more likely to continue it. Pills, I’m good for a while on taking them, but then I just stop for a while because I get tired of the numerous supplements that I take and cold turkey them all for a while. Read more
I read reviews before I purchased and thought it’d be fine, but after taking it for a week and trying it in several different things, two things are always true.1. It is FISHY. It smells and tastes AWFUL. And nothing I do seems to mask it or make it less so.2. It is CLUMPY. It doesn’t mix into anything smoothly, whether hot or cold, doesn’t matter. As far as visible benefits, too soon to tell. After this canister is empty I’ll be looking for a different brand. Read more

I used NeoCell Super Collagen earlier, and I am happy that I tried this marine collagen. This product definitely works much better for me! It looks like it is good for my skin, and I feel better in general, that may be because bovine collagen contains sulfite residues (according to the NeoCell label). It is a powder, I mix it with oats before adding water/juice, so that it does not clump. It has a minimal fishy smell/taste, it is better than how cow collagen smells. It is made from North American fish and manufactured in the US. Read more
I ordered this product due to my usual collagen supplement being out of stock. I haven't used the product long enough for the effects however the solubility is definitely a minor issue which irks me. I tried both hot and cold water which always results in white clumps that require me to use a spoon to break it down and wasting my time in the mornings before I go to work. This is definitely not a collagen supplement issue as my previous one dissolved just as well in cold water. Read more
